Trickery?

Selling a sub mmo with no "free" month included is a new thing to me apparantly that was the case with fathers day(?) sale and the summer sale that is now is also doing this, I got a email regarding the sale didn't say anything about not including game time for 11,99 euro only a underscored line saying it on the buy page you are linked to which also is a click link to the 24,99 euro version with gametime.

 

Personally I'm appaled by this, afaik it's common knowledge that you get a "free" month with the purchase and thus they are seemingly trying to trick people in to buying their game by only listing half the cost.

 

What do you think?

    I think you need to read a little bit more.. Clearly Trion states the 1 month will NOT be included.. There is also several other threads where this is being discussed.

    Technically they're doing nothing wrong as it's stated that it doesn't come with the free month but when it boils down to it they are relying on people not reading the print. Plenty of us are guilty of skim reading the details of a product, especially when it's one we already know about and the 30 free days is taken for granted.

    It is not or you got a different email, unless you didn't read my post and mean the underscored line on the buy page which I clearly mentioned.
