Advanced MMORPG Gamer Looking For a New One

Topic title says it all really, i have played the following games:
World of Warcraft (come on who hasn't?)
City Of Heroes
The Matrix Online
Star Wars Galaxies
Final Fantasy XI
Runescape
Eve Online
Dark Age of Camelot
Out of them i only managed to get into WoW and RS, played RS for two years but found the 14 year old community to be slightly annoying. WoW i still can't understand why i loved it but maybe because the combat actually involved strategy and using the right moves at the right time.
I really am after a game set in ancient Japan, you know like martial arts, Samurais and Ninjas, that sort of thing. Is there any based on all of those three concepts? I know there is a whole load of Korean ones on fileplanet now but im unsure on which is the best. Price doesn't matter nor does payment options, i just want a new game to get Addicted to.
I am quite open minded really with them as long as it is addictive that is all i am after 
. I was thinking about EQ2 but i heard the combat is quite spammy and well i've had enough of spammy ones thanks to SWG.

lets see... you could try the free version of anarchy online... there is swordplay and kungfoo in there. ummm... you could try ultima onlines new samurai and ninja expansion... i think lineage and or lineage 2 take some strategy when fighting (not sure but they are asain games) I know there is a japanese folk mmo or something in the list i think. I beta tested it before. It sucked badley but that was like 3 years ago or so.
You are missing EverQuest and Ultima Online on your list of played MMOGs. Until you have both I cannot conceive of calling you an "advanced MMORPG gamer".
I was thinking about lineage 2, what sort of era is that set in? Also UO no offense, is outdated and well should be left. I wanted to do the trial but they had the cheek to ask me for my credit card details first so i didn't even bother. I am not a big graphics freak but UO really is pushing it for me on the graphics front. I have played fung wang ages ago and found that good but i think after playing WoW, this will seem pretty awful.
I played the EQ2 trial for about thirty minutes before it stopped letting me play. I installed UO but like i said, wasn't going to give my credit card details just to try a trial. I am more of an advanced fps player really but you seem to have a distaste for people asking about games so i tried to sound somewhat different and not like a nooby asking the same question over and over.

oh and saga of ryzom. you could check that one out... andddd i don't think there are any more ones to mension.
There is no games like Fung Wang? DAMN, that game had potential but i felt like i was killing the same creatures over and over just for money. That game did appeal to me because of the Japanese feel it had but generally the game itself did feel slightly average.
Saga of Ryzom is another trial i played but the devs are a bunch of scammers. They ask for my credit card details which i foolishly give and say they are taking a £2.00 charge to verify but it will be payed back. They say they can't pay the money back in and offer me an extra 7 days play or a free T-shirt.
The muisc i remember on the character creation screen for those weird sci fi looking tribal people was some of the best music i have heard in ages. I remember just loading that game up just for that song. I didn't really play the game all that much though, i am a big believer in first impressions and the interface left me feeling quite well... intimidated. So i never picked it up after.

First impressions don't count for $hit. If you judge a book by its cover, you would pick the latest copy of Maxim as a literary rival to A tale of two cities.
If you want some samurai MMO your out of luck unless you make it yourself, literally. I would suggest the usual suspects: EQ2, WoW, Guild Wars and Ryzom, FFXI, SWG.
If you have tried those or are bored of them, give Horizons a try. I am really enjoying it right now. I tried it and at first I was not pleased by it (first impression). But I gave it a chance and got my settings just right, and I was sucked in by the unique character and look and feel this game has. Plus you can play a Dragon
Unless you have tried it in the last I would say 7 days or so, I would suggest you haven't tried it at all. That's my personal opinion. I LOVE IT hehe its kinda like a cross between morrowind and King's field (I loved King's Field for it's first person play, that's how I play Horizons) Anyways I find myself smiling constantly as I play it, that itself should tell you something. It pleases me like an old ghost story told by a campfire. Ack im running on....
Anyways, give the 7 day trial a go and try it for yourself
Interesting, I haven't heard anything like that before. More like this one or cards rejected for some reason and thus not able to play. Sorry to hear about this incident.
Anyways, if you have that t-shirt you might be able to sell it for good profit to cover your losses and some extra as there ain't any sor fan items sold at their site.

Hmm...i know a few games that you might like. I am not particularly a fan of these types of games so i haven't tried them but they are all martial arts type games. Kind of like Fung Wan online.

DAOC has a new alt ruleset server out which looks great
EQ is good too
(SoR is horrid, played the 45 day free trial i got off direct2dirve)
Try www.gunzonline.com it a 3rd person shooter with anime/matirx like feel with swords and guns and such. It pretty fun it in beta right now.
