I am looking for a mmorpg with 2 or more teams that battle each other sorda like dark eden where it is (vamps vs slayers open pvp) any one know of any good ones if any?image

    permanent teams like in WoW where its horde vs alliance or like in a FPS where its terrorist vs anti-terrorists?

    hmmm ya know... if your thinking of like a game where its an MMORPG but you join rooms like in Gunz, Survival project etc.... that sounds interesting...

    ionno, clarify a little more please...

    Dark Age of Camelot. There are three realms at war, Midgard, Hibernia, and Albion. Each realm has it's own set of races and classes. As I posted in a a thread earlier, they are releasing two new servers next month so now would be a great time to start playing.

    Planetside is a constant three-way war--the Terran Republic, New Conglomerate, and Vanu Sovereignty at each others' throats, all day every day. In fact, that's all there is, for better or worse--constant FPS combat, hold the RPG stuff.

    Planetside is way to much money for me to be spending every month.  what is it like $15.00.

    And DAOC ive been thinking of playing that game for a while i might give it a go is there a free trial?

    There is a downloadable free trial. It in no way would reflect how the game would be if you played on the 2 new servers though. On the older servers there is basically no one to group with til lvl 20, and also it's only the first software for it and none of the expansions, so it doesn't look nearly as good as it would.

    But if you play on the new servers, there will be loads of people to play and group with. It will no doubt have that "Brand new MMOG" feeling to it for the first couple of months.

    If you are looking into team battles, Planetside is the way to go.  I love planetside personally, and I believe that you should give it a shot.

    I've played pretty much every mmorpg out there, but never tried Planetside. How hard is it starting out as a noob and how long does it take to advance up the ladder?
