I am an old FFXI player.

My favorite aspect was the 1 character gameplay.  

It made for a really awesome community and deep attachment to the character and the game world in general.

I had high hopes for FFXIV but, well, yeah.

Are there any other good 1 character games?

    The new pvp server in Age of Conan allows only one toon i believe. Cant think of any others currently.

    Darkfall only allows one character.

    Darkfall looks interesting.

    The Open PvP idea is somethign I've wanted to test in the past.

    But the full looting will make me want to go mage/crafter and just profiteer, lol.

    Armed but Unarmed, at all times just out in the world harvesting and sneaking, lol.

    Eden Eternal you can be any classes you want on just one character just have to be certain level to unlock them you start with either warrior or mage and level your way up to unlock more class. they have 2 leveling system Character and Class
