Whats Lineage II like? Anyone on the beta? I played the original Lineage, but it wasn't that great.

Well, if you seartch the forum, you will find posts about the l2 open beta. Or you could check out the german site www.lineage2.de , most of it is in english and it tell's you how to make a account and the url to the dl link. But you have to be a member, not hard to fix ..... just register. (I dont know german, and i hade no problem fixing it.)
The differnce betwen open beta and closed beta is that anyone can join a open beta, but in a closed beta you have to receve a invetation from the game company/dev. Hope that is good enought annser. You see its kinda hard to get into a closed beta.

if so where can i download it/ register??
i went to the offical website and it never had a place to download it at..so im guessing that it is just open beta for korea....let me know plz

i got way too confused signing up for beta. and im not sure, but i think i was breaking some laws. it seemed like it wanted my social security number i think, so i typed randomy til i got it. now im waiting in the corner with a bat for the koreans to come knocking at the door....

It is a beta. So all stuff have not been aplayd yet. And if you chouse to be a dwarf you can create things like wepons etc.. (dont know if there are any other rase that can do that.) You will be agble to buy a house for you're "pleage" later on, and you will be able to sige casels that are all ready in the map with you're pleage. And when you reatch lvl 20 you have to do a quest to chose you're typ of proffesion/warrior.

No, there are not yet a open beta in US yet, but there will be. They say its like 70% done. The open beta on the korean servers are not just for koreans, but it is in korean and so is the offical korean site for lineage2. lineage2.com is for us and eu etc.

Hehe, You are not braining any laws, I talkt to a english speaking korean gm and he said it was ok. And they are not banning any more player becors they made more servers witch can handle more ppl.
There is a program you can download at the www.lineage2.de (just look in the forum) that makes you a korean social security number. At the same place were you can find the download link and the guide to make a account for L2.
Btw, most english speaking ppl play on server 11.
