Is it worth it comming back to Everquest

Hey I want to hear from all you people that still play Everquest, your opinion on the question.  Is it worth it to come back to Everquest?

I stopped playing it about a year ago because...well I really dont know why, dont ask.  I started playing WoW and I hatted how limited your character selection was, and well.. if you really want a good orc fight and your low level I figured go to crush bone. 

Is it to late to come back?

Is it even worth it?

HELP ME...PLEASE!

    nope, i thought i was craving EQ last week, i went re-activated my account all the servers are merged, but still have less population then the old times... there is barely anyone playing, the game just feels really outdated now, i played 1 total session and ive already canceled my account and havent logged in yet again.

    Corse it's fucking worth it!

    Most people that vote here are all WOW and GW fanboys :

     

    I say it's worth coming back, very easy to get max out levels now to the higher lvl content :) Graphics are amazing in all the new expansions!

     

    Also EQ has close to 500k people still playing :P More than most mmorpgs

    The population of EQ is perfectly healthy.

    The only problem is that 80% of the population is chilling in 5% of the world map.

    Your best bet would be to start a toon on Stromm, since this is still mostly regarded as the noob server.

    EQ1 is still a great game...only problem is that 95% of the playerbase is old school vets, 95% of the newbies you see are twinked out alts that are more interested of powerleveling than grouping....but if you can stand soloing, go ahead :)

    Hmmmmmm... yeah I think I will start playing again.  Its funny I never go a char over 35.  lol, sounds stupid to you but there were too many character selections to chose from.  Thats why I quite WoW no character selection.

    Alright then Im comming back then, but whats a good sever to do that on?

    Well first off, if someone happens to be into a game that you have no interest towards, why is it they are automatically fanboys and yet it's fine for you to spout EQ in every post you write ?

    I'd also like to know where your getting 500k players in EQ1 (maybe you meant EQ2 which I don't think is anywhere near 500K now either). I was under the impression that they were/had consolidated a number of servers to brings servers back to par and playable situations.
