Umm don't think it ever starts. Played trial to lvl 15 when it first launched.

    Just a shame its so under-rated :(

Is this fella citing monster-play as the reason LotROnline is good? Yikes. Did I miss something? Did they add a ton of content to Monster-play that I missed? From what I remember, monster-play was a huge disappointment for me. Monsters were fodder and no content or reason to battle agiasnt the fellowship.

I found it fun from day one and i'm now 65. It's impossible to compensate for boring and two dimensional people like the OP who probably  find even the most enjoyable and richly detailed game in MMO history boring. If you find lotro boring, the YOU are boring.

I suggest those of you who find it boring just uninstall this great game, go away and watch paint dry or something. Actually go try STO i hear that's fairly undemanding for those of you less interesting types.

Bear in mind, he did say he plays WoW, which would explain alot in his case. If it's not easy mode, it's not fun in his way of thinking.

Could be the combat that isn't fun for you.  I found that the combat is lacking compared to how it pops and flows in WoW.  BUT, I like LOTRO for it's storyline quests, environments, lore, and exploration, plus the Deed system proves why WoW has no depth.

If I could change one thing though, it would be to make combat a bit faster and more visceral and less waiting on inductions and taking 2 to 3 times longer than should be accepted to kill a mob.  But that's just me.
