Just wondering...
Currently not subbed to any MMORPG, and considering either FE, WoW or WAR again.

2 US and 2 EN servers left. Player base isnt big as you can see, population isnt going up, maybe slighty even more down. Atleast T2 isnt very active but tier 3 and tier 4 should be quite active
Lets jsut say that the only month i subscribed i spent the better half of T2 riding around taking screenshots instead of RvR.
It is best for the industry the MMO throne remains an dusty empty seat never to be filled.
With the latest billing screw up of th Mythic accounting center being merged with the new EA account, a lot of people's accounts are/were cancelled in the move and a decent chunk of people have yet to figure out how to get access to their account and subscription info now. There will no doubt be a number of people who just give up trying to re-subscribe to the game, hampering the population even further.
yea, I resubbed a couple months ago. It's pretty much a ghost town now. Which is especially problematic for a game that focuses so heavily on PvP. Now, it's more like Pv?.
It's too bad really. I thouhgt the game was a lot of fun back in the day. I played it for almost a full year. I think the tomb kings update is what killed it. Why pull everyone out of RvR when that is what your game is all about? I'll never figure that one out.
how is that producer still working for them? I guess he sold the game well, and hyped it up dramatically. He keeps talking about a new 'secret project' on Twitter that he's testing

I had a free 12 day reactivation thing there a while back and I fell back in love with the game again, mainly playing a T1 character...then a few xp nudged me into T2 and it was like suddenly entering a postapocalyptic zombie wasteland - Population: me + some enemy NPCs with poor AI. It's supposed to pick up in T3 yet all I seemed to be doing was standing at flags watching a resource carrier-bot running between point A and point B with nerry a bit of action besides a brief flash every hour or so. I have no toons at T4 which is a shame since that is supposed to be hopping still.
So, in summary T1 = rvr-tastic...T4 = supposedly rvr-licious. With nothing going on to speak of in T2/T3, it makes spanning the distance between those two states unlikely since no one with a normal brain could handle doing the crappy solo pve for more than a half hour without losing all sanity.
Although not exactly condusive to the long term financial survival of the game (if such a thing is even possible at this late stage), you are better off just creating a trial account and enjoying the rather active T1 rvr indefinitely and for free.
