Game is awsome but im quitting it...why u ask? Well i dont liek the fact that players decked out in the best gear in the game camp noob citys and stalk them for the kill....dont u guys have better things to do that kill noobs and thus making them disgusted with the game in turn scaring them away and thus not allowing the darkfall pop to grow? Shoudl be a protection area in noob zones is my opinion....didnt liek the fact that i grinded my ass 3hr to get all the iron i needed to get my armorsmithing to 50 just so i can make scale then get it and go out n get ganked on a quest n lose everything...then i go back to the city mine some more ore and IN CITY get ganked on my way back to the bank and my 210 ore gone...
Like my topic said guess its not for everyone...all in all the gameplay and aside from the retarded eliet players this game is grea a nice change from normal MMO's....sadly i will be leaving and going back to consol since i seem to cannot find a MMO any more that can keep my intrest...untill star wars comes out that is
Sorry you quit for this but be honest your just not right for this game. Its FREE FOR ALL FULL LOOT it have nothing to do with elitism ive made several new characters on all races and see how they go and ive had never any problems.
Play it smart and you wont be ganked much and lose alot, then bank regualry and it wont be a problem. If you have problem with losing all your stuff from time to time then this game AINT FOR YOU.

PS. I dont agree with most here who say SOLO is not a option becouse its a viable option its just alot harder but it can be very fun and enjoyable specially when you kick some ass solo by playing smart.
You must join a clan. Dont randomly apply. Check the forum, check what fits best for you.(I suggest empire for newb's if NA1) Try to pm Supreme generals so you can ask them questions before you join.
The number 1 mistake most newb's do, they live in npc city for too long. When they get kill too much, they give up. You should join a clan and learn from the best. Participate with your mates in some pvp and group pve. Thats fun.
Look, my 1st mmorpg was wow and its normal to rage quit. After my 1st 3 weeks, i give up since DF was too harsh for me. The jump from mainstream friendly game to an harsh one like darkfall, the shock is just too much to bear all that. So you probably need a break. After that, the best thing to do is to watch some Darkfall video on youtube to see how the end game really is. If you really like DF, you will want to be one of these vets, so you will want to try DF again and play untill you get there.
Darkfall is a ok game, but wouldnt say great but ok. Talking to the one or two that werent afk, i come to the relization that to survive in this game you need to build a strong character and fast. Now you must excuse me i have to set up my swim bot b4 heading to work.
