With speculation as to what BioWare will be announcing at San Diego Comic-Con this week running wild, there is new evidence to suggest that at the very least pre-order details for both the standard and Collector's Edition of the game may be part of that announcement. This news also comes hot on the heels of word that Star Wars: The Old Republic's release date has been shifted from TBD (to be determined) to TBA (to be announced).
Two new images have surfaced, one showing what appears to be the box art for the standard edition of the game, and the second allegedly depicts the Collector's Edition art and contents.
Images of the supposed standard edition (seen below) originated at Polish retailer Empik.com, where the listing has since been pulled down, however, the art is still viewable.
Below is reportedly the boxart and content details for the Collector's Edition, originating over on the NeoGAF forums:
Exclusive Gentle Giant Darth Malgus statue
Star Wars: The Old Republic game discs in collectable metal case
The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural annotated by Satele Shan
Old Republic galaxy map
Custom security authentication key
Exclusive music of Star Wars: The Old Republic CD
High quality Collector's Edition box
Flare gun: Fire flares into the air
Training droid: Hovers at your side for combat assistance
HoloDancer: Project your own holographic dancer
HoloCam: Keep visual records of in-game adventures
STAP: Sleek and unique in-game vehicle
Exclusive Mouse Droid: Spunky droid to join your adventures
Exclusive Collector's Edition store: Unique in-game vendor with a dynamic assortment of items
Of course, both of these could be fakes. What do you think?

Jeez, thats one hell of a CE set. I don't usually go for CE's but for SWTOR I may just have to with additions like that.
I think it's totally legit. Too bad we didn't get a price. I expect the full announcement Thursday at the Con. Will we get a date?
Looks pretty legit and SR hasn't brought down the hammer on it breaking everyones hopes yet so, it's possible.
As for the CE itself thats pretty nice, i don't buy CE that much so i'm not sure if thats a lot of stuff, from the sound of other posters it seems to be.
As for wether i'd buy it or not depends on my money flow if i can afford it, if i can then i will, if i can't then i'll just buy the regular version.
Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.
Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.
Yeah, nice nice. Just hope the game is good.
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder, without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better, and not the world about them?

i wonder if u can sell trash items to it...
No need. It works like Torchlight; you can just send your companion to sell grays (trash) for you and he'll come back.
I saw Flare Gun and WTFed. Then I realized it's in-game. XD
all i really need is the music cd and could do with out the malgus statue XD
You know, I'm not even that hyped for this game, but given the choice of bland vanilla wrapper or shiny box full-o-goodies.... hmmm
I guess I'll have to pre-order 2 CE versions. One for me, and one for the lucky bidder!
Seems like we have to save about 400 euro for collectors, keyboard, mouse.Damn it world crysis.
By the way thats one of the best in quantity collectors ever seen.I dont know about quality and price!!!.
This CE is great! I rarely buy CE but for additions like this I might reach deeper into my pocket!

-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
I told you to stick with buying only the 100 meter yacht.

oh oh i'll take a lung. you only need one of those right?
I'll add a third to that little mental leap. Almost laughed myself silly when I realized what I had done.
Very nice looking CE edition if it is true. Will be a must buy in my house for at least two of us.
"If half of what you tell me is a lie, how can I believe any of it?"
I don't get why people even bother with CE's unless they're actually treating them like a collectable, keeping it sealed.
If I had the money I'd get a CE and a standard copy but I think I'll barely have the money for standard.
Also, by the looks of it, they are going to have authenticators... sweet, I'll b getting one of those.
Same here.
If that's legit, then that CE is as good as mine.
But I can't do magic tricks and make the yacht disappear if it's not big enough... AD anyone?

If this is real I would have liked them to do a republic and empire collectors edition. Where in the republic you get a statue of Satele instead of Malgus and everyhing else stayed the same
100% agreement here.

That originating site has people on the forum talking about CE being 150 Euros, $150 and $250 USD :-O
That is a bit odd actually, especially with the very much Republic themed box art for both the steel box and CE box.
It will most likely be 150 regardless of where you live, an unfortunate hit for those in Europe, but that is how games have been priced for a while now.
It also makes sense when comparing the usual cost of a CE and then going to the Gentle Giant site and guestimating the cost of the Malgus statue.
