The guild page alone is pretty impressive, Ascendance is really putting it self out there to be ready on launch day.
Keep up the great work!
Wildstar (2013) & Elder Scroll Online (2013)

Enjoyed: WOW 5 1/2 yrs, LOTRO 3yrs, GW 1/2yr, DFO 1yr, EVE Online 3yrs, and Huxley (Beta).
Failed to impress: GW2 3months, Tera Online 6 months (best combat system in any MMO I've played) STO 1/4yr, Aion 1/2yr, AoC 1yr, CO, Fallen Earth, DDO, EQ2 1/2yr, WAR 1/2yr, Lineage 2 and FF XI 1/2yr, FF XIV.

Shameless plug for an awesome group of people uniting around the common theme that cake rules, arenanet can do nothing wrong and the fact we survived the rapture.
I'll bite on a response here, as the website and presentation value of the guild is quite nice, and the interaction on these focums seems positive so far. However, I am a self-proclaimed casual player and while I love the idea of being "the best" my professional and personal lives do not allow more than a few hours a week of gaming time (sometimes in small increments). I am quite interested in joining a guild early and building some relationships even in advance of launch, but am interested in the guild's perception towards a player in my position. I don't take any offense if I'm not a good fit and will still wish the guild all the best.
Fair enough. We want to present ourselves to everyone, but the vast majority of our guild's membership is focused on maintaining a "hardcore" sense of direction. Members who are not willing to commit to the guild's cause may find themselves somewhat out-of-place.
Nice job so far, Ascendance! I wish all of you the best of luck. I plan to start a guild of my own when we hear a release date, but I will keep you guys in mind if things change.

Nice website! (Although the background image is too small).
I may consider joining closer to release.

PvP focused guild. Nice website, tight bros from way back and beer. Homoerotic smelly gym classes in the morning.
