no sound on the game

in EVE Online

Eve oline caught my eye with its video and the non level so I decided to download the program. When I went to play there was no sound. What was worse my audio was completely gone. The sound came back when I rebooted but when I started the game the audio was gone again.I reinstalled the program and downloaded it twice making sure no programs were running and had the same result. I am really at a loss here and the support doesn't seem to helpful

to help those with any ideas the data below might help

sound card sound blaster audigy 2 value with latest drivers installed
windows xp with sp 2


any help will be appreciated thank you:)

    I have the same setup and dont have the problem imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

    But if you could, try a bit older driver and it might work.....

    Eh, Havent heard about that earlier.

    But I can maybe help you. Press "Esc" when you are in EVE online, and after that go to the sound options and see if there is something at 0.0.

    well some times the sound can jam in eve

    god forbid  and you soundcard should work fine

    one thing is to prevent jamming is to ESC press set grafic to fullscreen mode

    then you grafic you got  and dont swith betwenn window mode and fullscreen mode

    my sound card goes wild if I doo that

    this has happend to me in a game befor but not eve. i think its probely because your sound is not compatible with it or it was not made to compute with it.
