Damn, I am sure many of you also want to have a 1to1 discussion with their fav MMO's developer team, and have a hand in on the direction of the development, and land in ideas into the game.
Well for me,,, WoW and Rift are those two games I was to get my ideas in there. I remember I had some nice ideas for Rift and WoW.
For Rift (I remember this cause it was right before my sub went out, and I couldnt resub cause of bug), I was trying to post a idea for a PvPvE Cross Server mass scale zone for some awesome PvP with PvE elements, that has a larger scale than 20vs20,
But I couldnt post that final message on the forum, before my sub ran out. I really believe this idea would be a smasher if it was in WoW and Rift.
Because it mixes the best of both BG and World PvP all in one.
I had other ideas for improving Dynamic events fun, and immersion of Dynamic events, using phase tech that WoW uses.
Also had ideas for how to balance the class tree system, and make it more unique, while getting rid of the copycat skills.
QQ I had so many more ideas.... QQ
sometimes I want to make my own MMORPG. I believe I could make a serious smashing hit MMORPG, that isnt just a hype train. smh QQ
I would love to get a job at Blizzard or Trion World.

You would wake up in a world where profit plays the first rule and not just ideas and creativity. They dont make games to purely entertain you, games are made to make money actually. Thats the main point why the creativity in the whole game sector did reach the zenit currently, the approved ideas are all copied and the market with mmorpgs is very risky.
um....port of scion is a crosserver pvpve warfront in Rift
Alterac Valley is a crossserver pvpve battleground in WoW......
So what would be different about your idea?
Coming from WoW, Port is way to small scale to replace the Urge I have for Old AV. I like the concept, but if we going to get a PvPvE Instanced PvP game, I rather it be Large Scale, or make it into a separated PvP Zone like Guild Wars 2's Mist concept.
My Idea, takes the concept of Old AV's long and large scale battles, while also fixing the problems, for casuals to be rewarded for their time played, and allowing them to leave freely. Also I applied many cool features to the Map design, which would keep players of different interest on their toes.
Even the PvE players get to add to the fun, with many PvE battles, that effect the PvP control points.
I wanted some support on the forum so I can get the idea to Tirion, rather than be ignored.

This isn't exactly a unique idea. Idea's like this have been going around since the original concept of AV in WoW, and likely long before. What you're talking about is what I actually thought AV originally was going to be, and then I was woefully disappointed.
While the idea itself might not be unique, however, an actual implementation that works as well as the idea has yet to be done, so here's hoping for the future.
Keep throwing the idea out there during new MMO developments as well as current ones and at the very least maybe someone will think, "oh hey, that's badass, let's fucking fail at it."
At least failing at such complex modes is just what I've personally come to expect from MMO developers.
So your ideas are to re-use the ideas other people have created.
