Pretty self explanatory - I am bored, nothing to play - I am trolling.

So, please, if you could. Add an explanation as to your choice.

I will add mine after it gets rolling - if it gets rolling.

Well. this is what I am getting at the begining of June:

    Alienware® Respawn Recovery Kit
(Cause I hate installing OS if it crashes - if in doubt GHOST it!)

Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional with Service Pack 2
    (I prefer Higher security)

    Area-51m 7700 Case with 17" WideXGA+ 1400 x 900 LCD Display - Xeno Grey
(Do not believe in buying things I wont use - Like the Cam)

    Intel® Pentium® 4 540J Desktop Processor w/ HT Technology 3.2GHz 800MHz FSB 1MB Cache
    (Seems Good enough)

    2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 533MHz - 2 x 1024MB
(I am a freak when it comes to memory)

    Area-51m 7700 NVIDIA GeForce™ 6800 Go with 256MB of DDR3 memory
    (I LUB N-Vidia Cards)

    120GB (60GB x 2) 7200 RPM ATA100 - Hitachi
(This is my Question: Get 2x SATA 80 Gig/ they outperform 7400 Rpm drive in Raid 0 or...
stick with raid 0 7400 rpm hitachis?) Not sure.... SATA is much more money.

    8X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW / 24X CD-RW Combo w/Software

    NO WIRELESS
    MO SOFTWARE/ NAV/ OFFICE ETC.
NO BACKPACK [I HAVE ONE/ALIENWARE AS A MATTER OF FACT] LOL 116 DOLLARS WHEN I CAN BUY IT FROM THEM FOR 74? WTF.
NO ALIENAUTOPSY - PHFSSSS,,, 48 DOLLARS!
(I will call and bitch if something goes wrong)

After reading these specs, you will understand why Im a bit touchy on this subject:

    P4 1.7

    512 DDR

    100 GB Harddrive

    GeForce 4 MX 420

    The rest... Pretty obvious....

Getting a better system somewtime after summer hopefully..

Ive always been a generation behind when it came to systems but no more ! Wife and I sold our house for double what we paid for it 4 years ago. So we each decided to blow some money one thing. She got a new diamond for her wedding band and I got an Alienware system.

    AMD 64 4000+

    2 Gigs ram

The ultra rare to find brand new Nvidia 6800 Ultra card with 512 mb rams (wow, my video ram is same amount as my old systems reg ram)

    250 gig hard drive.

And my favorite part....i was going to get a flat panel lcd moniter but those things arent that great for gaming so i got the best they had, the NEC 22 inch flat CRT monitor, rated Kickas by Maximum PC as the best monitor around.

Between the monitor and the video card, Im loving all my games again. I can max out every game's settings I play. I got Half-life 2 running full maxed settings on 1600x1200 and it doesnt even skip. SWG looks amazing fully maxed. Im kinda even tempted to buy EQ2 (even though the game sorta sux) just to see if I can max it.
