Wish People would stop releasing crap games : They think mmorpgs will make us the most money, we'll make a poor quality game and bring down the quality of the industry.
Fact is only 1 or 2 mmorpgs deserve to be paid for and be in the genre.
Mainly Eastern mmorpgs

The average poster here cant withstand Beta, I dont even want to start to figure how they would act in alpha.
Myself I am a big baby, I would need a reason to do the alpha for a company...maybe because it is a sequel of what I enjoy the most(like D&D could prolly manage to abuse me in any testing...I mean, it is D&D!

Peoples need to understand, doing alpha is not receiving a privilege, it is helping a team in it earliest steps.

Now now, just because you are addicted to a spoonfed grinding repetitive crapfest with awesome graphics to hide all it's obvious flaws.....doesn't mean you have to take our your frustrations on someone that simply doesn't like the game.

I actually don't play at all, just standing up for a great game. And it seems remy you made it to level 35 so I guess that means you enjoyed being spoonfed a grinding repetitive crapfest for 2 levels more than I did =D I win, lets let it die
heheh, i really wanted to love EQ2...i played EQ1 back in the late 90's and was such a huge fan of that game i assumed EQ2 would be just like that...only better...but you know what happens when you "assume" things.
Actually the grind sets in after u finish your armor quests....nothing to do but grind after that. so around lvl 25 i started getting bored, but kept playing because of friends...but even they couldn't keep me playing. ahh well.

Is that here you are with FW in open Alpha and your system for distributing your client and your account numbers is both professional and efficient
VASTLY more professional and efficient than Mournings is STILL! and your only in open alpha.
I know its not relevant in this thread but for pities sake... The Mourning team is treating the gaming community (STILL) like complete moronic scum. No amount of derision of that product is unjustified, and here in FW's open, honest product promotion is further proof of that.
Egomancer... go to FW's site and see how things are handled when they are run by competent game developers instead of cynical, know alls.

Im glad that MMORPGer's know the definition of an opinion. I love how everyone can express their opinion and everyone respects it and does not make verbal arguments.

I know this is off topic BUT, alot of the estern MMORPGs do more to bring down the industy's rep. than western MMROGPs, when was the last time you looked at a hand full of "small time" (small company/dev team) korean and/or chinese mmorpgs then comapred them to a handful of western "small time" company games? take note on how all the korean and chinese games have the same graphics (remember, these are "small time" companies) same layout, same character models! sometimes even the same animations and sounds! with the western MMORPGs you AT LEAST see some variety so it's harder to stereotype the western mmorpgs, not to mention that, I find, western MMORPGs look like they have their own graphics, where as alot of the "small time" korean and chinese games look like they all downloaded a pre-made game, named it, and did a little altering of the code.
