Nakieon has started an initiative today within the MO community - a call for players to take a more positive stance in building the community of the game.
Obviously, the virtual society - both in and out of game - is very important to a game of this type. I'm not sure how effective such a movement can ultimately be, but it may at least remind everyone for the time being of the importance of community. There appear to be quite a few that agree with the sentiment, at least.

I hope the 200 people still playing can not call each other non factors now. I agree with this message.
Never played MO, but this is always good to hear, community is key in my book.
I agree, and not just with MO, but with pretty much any MMO. While I understand a lot of the streamlining systems that many games have incorporated over the years, I can't help but think that such streamlining has adversely impacted the most important and unique aspects of an MMO - the community and world.
In any event, this particular initiative might be helpful, at least in some small ways.

Guys, please stick to the topic at hand. There are plenty of open threads in which to criticize the game's flaws.
