ZOMG! I was hacked! Who will be the first...

Unless it was mentionned in a press release or something I have not seen anything related to account security yet for SWTOR other then standard ID/Pass.

I gotta say that since I got that WoW Authenticator thingy for my daugther, it solved all my "DADDY!!!! I lost my lvl 45 whatever and I have no more money... what happened?"

Anyone got info is anything along those lines will be available for SWTOR? I'm also sure if it does, it wont be free...

Part of the CE is a Custom Security Authentication Key, I've heard that they will offer these for sale as well, just not a part of any other bundles.

SWTOR CE comes with a authenticator.  I assume you will be able to purchase one if you didnt get the CE

    No info for you sorry.

Imo this is a generational thing. A basic lack of understanding computer security is to blame. There is no "getting hacked" most cases the user gave the information away because he/she didn't know better.

     I'm not arguing that.

But let's just say kids these days ton have a clue about security... just like that sunday morning when I took my daugthers cell phone and texted all her friends "good morning" at 6am... she got the message she should have a password on her cell quickly in case she lost it or whatever...

So those extra layers helps to a certain extent.

I think you people are being trolled. He said his "daughter" was the player and would need the authenticator.  Everyone knows girls don't play video games. (I keed, I keed)
