Female friendly game?

No offence OP but I did have to chuckle as Meowhead did regarding the thread title, especially with that editorial on female gamers recently. Putting that aside given your taste for PvP I'd probably have to go recommend DAoC again, (2nd time today I think), particularly once you find a welcoming guild which will guarantee your social requirements. If you find the number of players too big and you still want something more cosy you could also try the (free) Uthgard shard, the playerbase is much smaller with all the pros/cons that carries with it.

What makes a game female friendly or vise versa for that matter?

All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.

I'd hazard guessing the OP is using female as a synonym for collaborative-emphasis vs a more male emphasis on conflict oriented MMOs (As well as a generally higher word count on average per day?)?? Back me up OP ; )

Based on what you are looking for,  I'd say perhaps Fallen Earth will play nicely.. open PvP eventhough there are also factions,  it fits the bill for almost everything you're looking for minus the small world.... the world is actually very big.  The community is great and very helpful.

As for a female friendly game -- well -- about that -- the truth is, theres a game out there thats ONLY female friendly,  but its a secret not known by anyone as the second you post the name, the game gets searched, and flooded with men who want to pick up the ladies.  Its like that secret country that only rich people know about,  just its that MMO where all the ladies play.

Unfortunately if you don't already know about it,  I can't help you...

Kinda like how they go to the bathroom in pairs?

Best part: You have ONE character! Can change to any class but you will always be known by your characters name. No Alts!

^ This, FFXI has one of the most social communities out there, hell you can even chat while grinding (not so much NOW thansk to abyssea but, yeah its still there) I believe, if your server has 3000-4000 people during prime times, we counted that as A LOT of people. And when it comes to exploring, there is quite the bit to do, I've played for 4 years (with breaks) and have yet to see more then...maybe 3/4s of the world. May be even less than that. Despite the fact I game hop ( a bit too much :X burn out too fast I suppose) I tend to stick to the circle of 3-4 games, and FFXI is on that circle, has been for 4 years. It should be really cheap to get in stores, I think steam has a sale on it (might have been a little while ago though, sorry) Either way :D I hope you enjoy what you play

    [Mod Edit]

According to what you've asked for,  DAOC should be the best choice!

EVE is female gamer friendly? Lol please, i think a female would get bored with that faster than anything else.

Rift is fun.  AION is fun, seems like a female type of game , aswell, aside from the grind.

Not really sure what would constitute, but I guess tera looks female friendly.

Would say SWG , since there is a small community and alot of females in that game, but they are getting ready to shut it down soon....

[Mod Edit - Please do not make multiple consecutive posts. Edit the first. Thanks]

(As for this mod edit, not sure why it matters, did I strike a cord or something?)

Unless you enjoy being put into a group and sterotyped (Not just saying "female gamers", but any group), you should really drop the "female friendly game" title and make your own opinions.

I would like to recommand you to play lord of the rings online ( lotro ) which is free game, and community is full of friendly players, and players love to meet each other, there are plenty of guild events and so on. + so much other possibilities how to spend time in game rather then just killing mobs around + epic story + many cosmetic outfits and great clothing system, if you need some more info send me message.

P.S. many mature females have been playing this game for years and they still do

I wish you that you will find your best game :)

EverQuest 2 is arguably the BEST female friendly game at the moment. (my girlfriend is far from a gamer, but she really enjoys it and all the guilds I have been in since 2004 launch had a male / female ratio of pretty much 50-50... some guilds had even more female than male players)

LOTRO comes second place and is also very female friendly.

I hate to say it, but it might be better if you don't advertise your female. Since some people aren’t mature enough. As for games AoC isn't bad, plus it's free for the first two characters, but you're also limited to certain dungeons. EVE isn't recommended, unless you can cope with the PvP element. image

Crystal saga is a very popular game with females. I say this because my guild had about a 50% ratio of females on vent every day out of 100 active members. Its a smaller community of servers and people really know eachother there. Just a suggestion.

Playing Path of Exile and deeply in love with it.
