    While overall graphics and textures of the environment and characters look great, the spell effects, IMO, are not jaw dropping.

    I don't want to be blinded by partical effects. I'd actually like to see the action instead of being blocked by particle effects of everyone spamming skills. Tera does a nice job of that.

    As you stated the overall graphics and textures of the game is awesome. I love the ambiance, I love traveling and panning out and seeing the scenery. It is truly beautiful.

    having seen videos of gameplay i have to say that the spell fx don't seem to be as exciting as this article claims.

    i have seen videos of  a elf spellcasting and is quite impressing  specially as is not just  1 or 2 really flashy spells more like all...but  as another one said is not really jaw dropping just  look cool

     

    im more worried about the future of tera....every month that the game is delayed(maybe not really delayed as we dont have a release date) seems like a freemium model would be a nice choice to open in NA and EU

    ya i gotta say from watching K-tera vids on youtube the melee effects look better than the magic however this game overall is stunning, lets hope the game play matches

    I am looking forward to this game...wish it would hurry up and enter open beta already! I am looking for a good game so i can leave Aion.

    having played this game a bit i have to say the combat effects for melee and magic are just awesome. i absolutely love how fire spells look in this game. better then any other game for sure.

    Eh. I left Aion ages ago. Rift is keeping me busy in the meantime. Although both games have the same starting zones for each side making alts a bore. Hopefully Tera or others will put an end to it. WoW was great becuz of this. There was always alternate routes to leveling. As far as spell effects. I'm sure they're better than WoW or Rift. Not that it really matters. I just want a non linear game with an open world, lots of content and a good battle system. Aesthetics is nice but Thatz like surrounding poop in chocolate if the game sux.

    Getting too old for this $&17!
