As hinted earlier today, SV has closed down the current bug tracker:

Bug Tracker Closed I have closed the public bug tracker as it has fallen into disuse. Administrators and developers still can access all of the old bugs, so nothing was deleted or lost. From this point forward, please send the bug reports to me through a PM on the forums, with the following format: BUG: Description A brief description of the bug, how you encountered it or anything else. Should be around a paragraph if you can. Reproduction Steps 1. 2. 3 etc. |

No word on whether or not this is an interim change until a better formal system is implemented.

Closed without alternative. You *can* send them to Opal. Yea and I can attach a pancake to my tie but of what use is it..? XD
Nothing lost or deleted except of that half of the reported bugs that were simply lost or deleted, of course. This is pure greatness. They simply don't want you to report their bugs anymore, obviously. A PM folder isn't a bug-tracker. That's like using a .txt file as a database.
In other words, they don't have enough people left playing to even report the bugs.

Disuse? Ah, I seems that there are no more new bugs! Epic achievement, congratz!
Actually there were pages... and pages.. and pages of bugs. The problem was that (from the point of view of many players) SV simply ignored the bug reports. Blatantly known issues were just left with "Need Confirmation" week after week...
Recently the players were starting to complain and were posting more bugs on the forum. When the mods told them to use the bug-tracker the customers started ranting about how pointless that was since SV seemed to ignore it and only reponded to issues made public..

All time classic MY NEW FAVORITE POST! (Keep laying those bricks)

This just shows how inept SV is at being a business. Slapshot I was just in the bug tracker it had between 9-11 pages of bugs, most unconfirmed and most not commented on by devs or GMS.
How does Shinzon go from Guild Leader of an SV favored guild (AI) to CM (Black Opal) and now in charge of the bug tracker??? If this doesn't show this business is run by a bunch of kids what does? It is the truth only the most vocal of bugs got fixed (ones talked about in the non bug tracker forums).
Why would SV openly air the numerous game issues? It looks better if these things arent out in the open, someone finally caught on.
Disuse? By Starvault perhaps
I win!!! LOL@U
This has to be one of the dumbest things SV has done.
Choose your words carefully. I am sure they will suprise you in the near future.
The basic fact is that they are now attempting to hide the bugs from the public. Lets see how the player base responds to their decesion.
For players contemplating on buying this game disregard THIS site. Posters here all have an agenda.

Have fun.

Why would anyone get a clearer impression of the general mood in a censored forum where unwanted facts and opinions get deleted? "Choose your words carefully", yea he'd have that in his PM inbox now together with a 30 days ban.
Btw SV employees in disguise, you can't just start over and advertise in forums again. That train has simply left. The sudden influx of new fanboy posters with under 10 postings in this subforum is laughable. And then they disappear.
Attempting to hide bugs from the public.. LOL for trying to pretend that this is a noble cause. That is all. There is no way SV can hide them from the customers they're screwing over. (Luckily, there are not as many new ones as SV would like everyone to believe.)
Can we stay on topic guys. The topic is about a game riddled with bugs that got rid of thier bug tracker. Brilliant business dicision.
Please stay on topic.
the bug tracker was removed due to becoming under used and abit of a mess. All bugs can be sent directly to the devs in a pm until the new bug tracker is ready.
there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.
It was under used by the DEVS so whose fault was that? If the actual tracker was under used by the devs what do you think tons of pms are going to do?
When I said choose your words carefully, I meant that Star Vault, will probably do something even dumber that they just did with the bug tracker.
Yes their forums are heavely censored, but I browsed it yesterday and there are a lot of unhappy players there.
Saying that posters here have an agenda was an attempt at sarcasm, seeing that the posters that try to lure new players into the game always say that and refer them to the official site.
Now that the bug tracker is closed, and a lot of the players won't PM the bugs to the CM i can only think that this will Improve the game. (sarcasm)
