World of Warcraft: The Darkmoon Faire

The official World of Warcraft website has been updated with some information and screenshots of the recently announced Darkmoon Faire.

A gathering of the exotic from around the world and beyond, Silas Darkmoon has brought together the Darkmoon Faire as a celebration of the wondrous and mysterious found in Azeroth. While the Faire spends most of their time in parts unknown, they do stop from time to time in Mulgore and Elwynn forest. When the faire is on its way, barkers will stop by Orgrimmar and Ironforge to announce its arrival.

While other are adding expansions for the 3 rd, 4th and 10th time , WoW  keeps on adding free content.

    /Agreed

Even though I don't play WoW anymore, it's mighty impressive that they just continue to add content and keep trying to make things better. Meanwhile I've paid for 2 adventure packs for EQ2 and will probably pay for the expansion comming out at the end of this summer, not even a full year after the games official release. It's really not all that hard to figure out why WoW is so massive.

imageDoing stuff like that is typical. I don't play WoW or EQ2 anymore, but EQ2 is doing an amazing job at adding free content. WoW has been adding minimal amounts compared to EQ2. I'm not on either's side though, so don't get the wrong idea.image

Can someone please make me a sig. I would like it to have something to do with an eagle(the bird) Somewhere near the eagle can you put the words "Global Defense Initiative". Could you also have the line "If you can't buff up, don't step up!". Thanks!

it's true that world of warcraft hasn't released any expansion packs that you have to pay for but that's probably because most of the content they update is very minimal, most expansion packs that come out have new areas or completely new systems about them, wow just adds minimal content like this fair, so at this point it's true to say that WoW is more cost-effective but that doesn't mean that they have more content than other games.

That's cause WoW started off with a lot more Content then EQ2. Plus when a WoW expansion comes out expect a lot of new content.

If you look at Blizzard's track record their expansions are like a whole new game with new things to do.

I'm not sure about this Dark Faire thing could be fun. Want them to release more Battleground instances.
