Suprized I havent seen anything on this game I guess, although I havent been looking regularly at the new games being released this one is interesting to me since Im a huge horror fan. Here and Here is a video of someone who is apart of the game. Seeing as I don't know anything about it could someone inform me or anyone else that wants to know more about the game. I know by steam that there will be a multiplayer co-op 4 player added which is just like left 4 dead. Would be nice if they could add some other multiplayer modes I guess but it might work well. It has acheivments on steam as well which will be fun getting all them.
Kinda suprising that this type of game is coming out to me, just the timing but it will be fun watching the new season of "the Walking Dead" whilse bashing zombies online on my laptop on the couch, cant get much better then that I wouldnt think.
Here are the games specifications.

imo Left 4 dead 2 is better than this. Sometimes I doing Left 4 dead 2 with my friends , really funny.
This one ? No , I don't want give it a try.
uhhh you wont really see much about DI on mmorpg cause DI is not a MMO.... its your A-typical hacker/slash zombie game... odd quests where you have free roaming (BS hardly any game has full zone roaming even just cause 2 had limited roaming in some areas)
so ya look on gamespot or ign for actual news about that game maybe guru but mmorpg.. nope o-o
looks nice graphically but meh... how many times will re"invent" zombie killing?
Pardon me if it seems odd that I post a game that dosnt have anything to do with mmos but this section isnt for mmos. Honestly when ever I need to find info about anything gaming I come here, its where its discussed the most Iv found on most games. I dont use gamespy or gamespot, cant stand either although gamespy is nicely designed just isnt my cup of tea. I guess I didnt mean to emphasize so much on gaining more info from other people then to just hear what others had to say.
O yea that reminds me of this funny ghost map that l4d had, it was fun and I do love l4d, one of my favorites but you could really see the age of the engine running it. There were these models that looked more 2d then 3d. I was looking at the engine being used for dead island, call of jurez was the only other game made by it, but it didnt do that well aparently.
Here it is,
Chrome Engine 5
Chrome Engine 5 announced games
Dead Island (2011) [3]
Call of Juarez: The Cartel (2011)[4]
The gaming industry milked WWII to death but zombies...Zombies live on after death and so the gaming industry will just milk that genre forever and ever and ever. Also helps perpetuate the concept that it's OK to kill people if they are infected zombies, ergo, when the global elite infect a large part of the world's population with a deadly virus you'll be easily recruitable (unless infected yourself) to join the MDK (Murder Death Kill) squads to erraticate a large part of the human population.
I just cant get the brink and team fortress 2 comparison out of my mind. I bought brink for pc thinking it was going to be the next team fortress 2 but it so wasnt. I wonder if dead island will have similarities between those two as well or if dead island will actually be better then left 4 dead. Cant wait to see though, its when al the reviews start coming in on gamerankings that it becomes obvious what kinda game it is, only time will tell. With new chrome 5 engine, multiple multiplayer modes and lots of acheivements on steam, this has to mark at least in the 80s I would think, be funy if it had some reviews in the 90s tho. It would be a massive failure if it scored in the 60s though like most of the brink reviews.
