in Final Fantasy XIV

Hey guys i was curious about FFXIV.. looks pretty cool from the trailers and screenshots that ive seen, now thats its had a few months of being live im wondering how the games doing? i really wanna try it out but wanna get some views from you guys first

    No deadline for any patches currently, but they are coming. The next big patch will be 1.19, I would second the notion for waiting until after 1.20. However, the longer you wait the less free time you get in the game. If you're unaware, the game is currently "buy to play." This will change later on. The development team is diligant and will likely deliver some impressive stuff very soon.

    Correct, as of right now the game is not P2P. You still need to buy a retail copy of the game, but you do not need to pay monthly fees. I have a hunch that this will remain the case until the PS3 launch, at which point the game will face a period of make-or-break.
