Look at my xfire and see what game I've played the most this week.
Yep, thats right.
Sims 2 has the best community. The people never argue with them, no PVPers to kill low-level characters and you can be in the social loop and not be uber 1337. People don't judge you by how high level you are, just by how nice you are.
Can World of Warcraft, Everquest, Ultima Online, Anarchy Online, Final Fantasy XI or any other MMORPG boast a community this good?
i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

Ultima Online... not anymore, but back in the day, it was the best, i think i knew pretty much everyone who played on the pacific shard lol had like 700 people on my icq
WWIIO members have known each other for years. They even have conventions that 500+ people go to meet fellow players. Play the game for a week and you will understand.

Eve online has an amazing community!
www.eve-radio.com is the best fan based community
On the other hand because of the nature of the game there are real **** heads in that game
Ultima Online used to have a great community. My ICQ list was long too, I've been playing for about 5 years now and I just recently quit. I still prefer my little self-controlled people that do what I want to do. Want to argue with me? I put them in a pool and remove the ladder.
By the way, this post was sort of supposed to be sort-of humorous. I am just stating that through the years I have experienced some of the worst communities on MMORPGs, UO being the best and WoW was a good game but... that community... my god...
All humorous about how bad my experiences with the community in MMORPGs has been since I left UO.
The Sims 2 community has its problems. No one ever responds when you talk to them with anything other than gibberish, and those damned n00b babies are always whining and wanting something.
Dude, you brought the babies into the game! That's like getting your friend a WoW guest pass and not helping him. Its just plain cold -_-.
And people do respond! The game caters to non-english speakers/ dyslexics, so they added their own language and let you read what people are saying with symbols (such as a beachball if someone is talking about beachballs).
I think it's great!
A really great community is starting here:

The people there are really nice. I've not seen one single flaming post or argument. The game looks like it will be cool as well.
Yes, but if its based in the US, it should have at least an English neighborhood.
