From all professions i find the Consular the least atractive one to play, this video only strenghtens my believe that it probaly be the most boring type to play but eh,all personal views eh
I wish someone would explain me why people are selling animations in Second Life that are motion capture and look completely natural for less than a dollar while AAA MMO animations look a bit awkward.

Keyframing is easier to loop. Mocap is a beast to do decent loops. Remember how SWG had mocapped animations, even the jump was mocap. It was UGLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Seriously, dude, keyframe is better, but they need to utilize a physics engine to make the keyframed animations have heft/weight to them.

Schweeet! I really hope more feel that way, because I really want this Class to be the underdog class I choose. So-far, this is the direction I'm heading.
This trailer is something I'd expect from something fan-made. Two Steps From Hell is awesome, beastly, epic, unreal and such, but its inclusion proves Bioware is incapable of making their own ORIGINAL musical score for SWTOR; just this and of course the recycled John Williams tracks from the various Star Wars movies.
Cloned / Copied music, in addition to their already stale combat. It just doesn't add to the factor of quality the populace seems to think Bioware has. I've played far too many failed MMORPGs to figure out what kind of a game this is going to be. However, I am a rather large Star Wars fan and I sincerely hope that I'm wrong, I will say that much.
I love the game, can't wait for it, but these weekly updates need to go. Release germaine info as its avail, instead of some every friday will be something, either something important, or how they recorded the sound of water.
Its like mom used to say, if you can't say something worthwhile, SHUT UP.

Damn. People are so spoiled and jaded these days they can't even accept a gift.
Do you know what the alternative is? Tor gives you a little present each week and they have been doing this for months. Other mmo's this far from release give you NOTHING!
{mod edit} How often does GW2 throw out new official vids and game info? Oh that's right ... they don't even attend conventions often.
Bioware is nice enough to have made Fan Fridays for what it is. Official information is highly restricted rigth up to when the NDA falls in all games. TOR NDA isn't going to be over until very near release.

You had to search for beta leak info to get any sort of information. How often does GW2 throw out new official vids and game info? Oh that's right ... they don't even attend conventions often.

Sigh, I'm not mentally handicapped, I understand what they are doing, but that does not mean I agree with it. I have followed this game since it was announced Oct 2008. After the pre-order announcement this seems a little forced (like quite a few of the friday updates). I have actually seen the odd MMORPG release, and many don't tell you anything until almost release, which is my preferance.
Also, I have no interest in GW2, nor do I run around this forum slagging TOR (its the exact opposite in fact).
I am saying I would rather they ditch the fan fridays and only announce substantive things as they get them in (the alternative you speak of in your post), even if it means they say nothing for months at a time. But thanks for trying to make it personal:)

I really don't get that. In SL you have loops for walking and running. They look great. Also you have jump, hover, fly and countless dances which are also looped and they look fantastic.

I was impressed. Can't wait to get my hands on the game.

I likey...
I used to be a DPS whore, but now that Im venturing into healer classes this is definitely on me list.
I really liked it but he looked like he should be playing football instead of using the force to heal people.
Force speed seems to be lacking from swtor. Not that I am surprised most MMOs lack to balls to have variable movment speeds.
*with Palpatine voice* He could heal others, but he could not heal his baldness. XD

Yah because from EQ to WoW and every MMO inbetween, none of them have had variable movement speeds...

You stay sassy!

So this is a space Paladin.
Hm no. I guess he is more a strong cleric, given this is a sage. But thats just my imagination.

Pretty sure they're composing their own music for it. Over 5 hours of original music actually.
Huh? Consular tanking? Are you getting it mixed up with the knight?
He can tank actually.
Consular->Jedi Shadow->Kinetic Combat skill tree.
