Best-looking MMORPGs

Whats your favorite MMORPG to look at? I would have to say FFXI. The graphics were wonderful and the colors matched the theme so well. This was easily the best looking MMORPG I have ever seen. The gameplay wasnt great, but the game's graphics and such were wonderful. I also liked how the characters looked (too bad you couldnt customize them very well)
What game do you think looks the best?
i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

Lineage II was nice, both environment and characters.
FFXI also was very nice, characters, different environments, *and* cutscenes.
EQII, also pretty nice characters, nice customization, decent environments.
Saga of Ryzom, love the slight anime-style, pretty environments (colourful!), and the characters are pretty original, and pretty customizable too. Not only LOOKS nice, it's a good game.

Probably also because of the fact that even on my lower end system the graphics are amasing! (Lot's of new games I can't play because of old video card

I would agree with you Gargantroo, FFXI does look the best to me. I also love the gameplay. FFXI is my favourite MMORPG ever.

I vote for There. I mean the enviorments are so colorful and amazing. The tools to build items are so powerful too. You can make your avatar look like anything you want, I mean anything! Its so breath taking and I don't think any other Virtual World can match it.

FFXI. That game has IMO the best world of any MMO. It's just beautiful. Although from a tech standpoint it doesnt have as good graphics as EQ2, the world is extremely beautiful, diverse, colorful, and just awesome. Plus one feature that I REALLY liked in that game was the fealing of a continuous world, even with zones. There wasnt really any mode of fast transport until higher levels (besides WHM spells I mean), and even then when you were on the ferry or airship you got to sit there and stay on it for about 13 minutes and enjoy the ride. It was also mostly one big landmass which meant you really had to travel a while to get from city to city. One of the things I strongly dislike about EQ2 is how the islands are separated. It means you have to zone between continents constantly, and not only that but there's no actual boat sequences (besides ones for access quests). You just teleport between places. To me that makes the world seem really small. FFXI remains my favorite game world ever. Too bad I hated the rest of the game, lol.

I'd have to say Saga of Ryzom it's one beautiful game (graphically only tho).
Star Wars Galaxies (if you have the RAM to play it with the graphics maxed out).
I always run it with the graphics tweaked to the max, bloom turned off and have AA 8x turned on on my video card. The game runs smooth as glass for me and looks absolutely stunning.

I would have to say EVE or Guildwars.
World of Warcraft looks nice as well, despite the engine being extremly outdated.
Upcoming games... Age of Conan looks quite impressive and I lvoe the new look of LOTRO, and Hero's Jounrey has some nice graphics as well.

I'd have to say that CoH is my favorite right now. I love the character selection you have their. It is nearly impossible to make a character that looks the same as anyone else!
