Anyone here use an electronic cigarette?

Bought mine a little while ago, works great! Don't need to get up and go outside for a cigarette every now and then and my room doesn't stink anymore! Perfect for raiding :)

If so, what kind are you vaping?

FDA has said these are just as dangerous as real cigs, some these are 10x more dangerous due to the cancer causing chemicals they use to produce the ingredient that turns to vapor. Google it, I read an article somewhere that said some them can be more dangerous then real cigs. I don't smoke, but if I did I would pass on one these and try and quit the real thing. Who can afford to smoke anyway anymore, seen pack go for over $6 here.

Nice, you should definitely try the newer tank systems, no need to constantly drip, I personally use the eGo-T from http://skyvapor.net works like a charm and I change my liquid about every 24-48 hours depending on how much I actually vape, battery life is actually impressive too, also 24-48 hours.

Currently vaping Menthol, can't get enough of it :D

FDA has approved the electronic cigarettes as a tobacco product, they tried to ban it without much research but all the tests that had been done had proved that ecigs are much safer than traditional cigarettes.

Liquids contain only 4-6 simple ingredients (depending on who makes it, I personally vape U.S.A. made liquids) including flavoring but obviously the most harmful is still the nicotine but it's just a step to quit from cutting down your nicotine levels. Of course if you can quit cold turkey, you definitely should! But I haven't had an urge for a cigarette since I've owned an ecig but that's just me :)

Ingredients (may contain some or all of the following): <-- Ingredient copied from my liquid supplier's website :)

    • Propylene Glycol

    • Vegetable Glycerine

    • Distilled Water

    • Alcohol

    • Natural & Artificial Flavors

    • Caramel Color.

Wrong answer to be applying to the entire industry.

The FDA report in question concerned certain knockoff brands. The standard (non-flavored, flavored versions have other additives) mixture in E-cigarretes is simply nicotine and Propylene glycol, that's it. The mixture is then heated until it vaporizes. Propylene glycol is a harmless solvent used in a variety of applications, including food coloring and stage smoke.

The problem with them, as I see it, is that once nicotine addicts switch to Ecigs, they have little reason to completely quit. Ecigs remove both the health problems and most of the cost of a nicotine habit.
