Not quite yet. They put in pvp Rifts and dailies, but that is still not enough yet it seems. 1.5 my guess is supposed to be when they introduce Ember Isle which I ASSUME is the 40v40 pvp zone they have been talking about.

Hey how do PvP rifts work?
Can we now attack Faction Warstones and take them over?
I remember leveling in Rift, and tried to cap a Guardian Quest hub after I killed the NPC Guards, but it wouldnt let me cap at all. Can we do that now? how do Faction Rifts work?
1. Find a raid tear and open it. This creates a goal in the middle of the Rift surrounded by 4 pillars that give it a shield. The defenders job is to take the Crystals to a point not to far away and do this enough time and I forgot what they get.
2. The offense job is to take out the 4 pillars and destroy the central objective. Not sure what the goal is.

I find PvP has improved overall, being it with PvP rifts or battleground changes. Get a team of friends together and you'll have fun. I don't know how it is alone or in pugs tho.
PvP is also much more accessible with the new system to get item upgrades for example.
I havent seen much open world pvp at all up to level 40. I've heard that my servers population is low so I'm likely going to do a server transfer this week to hopefully find more pvp. The overall open world pvp experience in RIFT seems to depend alot on population so make sure you pick a busy server.
Honestly it seems very hit and miss. With the server transfers it's pretty hard to say as well. People seem to jump around quite a bit, so server randomly get spiked with players, and then next thing you know it feels empty again.
Overall I've found world PvP to be either non existant, or a ridiculous gank fest (with rogue squads just camping the portals). Nothing all that great imho.
We had a guild event on sunday hunting down Rifts to finish our guild quest and we found plenty in Scarlet Gorge and Scarwood Reach hehe fun times (Sunrest server though)

How is the population on sunrest? I'm actually considering transfering over from Harrow. Its abit low on Harrow which is probably why I've rarely seen any sort of open world yet. (level 40 character)
Also, hunting down rifting is pve. Just thought I'd throw that out there lol

Sunrest is a *very populated server and yes, hunting down Rifts is PvE, but we encountered plenty of defiants open world for PvP hehe and there is new content now that some Rifts are PvP, meaning you have to fight for them to get the rewards.

Goddamn, you make a lot of threads. You asked about PvP in Allods like half an hour ago!

PvP Rifts are simple.

There were roughly 17 high pop servers last night which is pretty damn impressive so long after launch and not being WoW lol
