That was rather.. unprofessional imho. The game is in dire need of real GMs and not volunteers.

Neither the video nor the post explain what was going on at the time. I don't see how you were banned for roleplaying a thief. From the thread in the MO forums it looks like someone was pretending to be a GM, or claiming GM favoritism for themselves.
If I ran around say, EvE Online claiming a dev had spawned me a BPO and I WASN'T a member of BoB, I'm sure I'd be temp banned too:)
Reasons do not come into it at the end. Tick off a GM who says stop, and you blow them off at your peril.
Right and wrong go out the window. All that matters is a person with the final say, says stop, either stop, or take what happens.
Everything these days is done in extremes. I play games where the entire server wishes jerk players would be banned for rants,political speeches,social opinions,and too much information about themselves,in language not everyone cares to hear. While in other games you get banned for banal nothings.
I may know the least here,but I am the loudest about what I do know.
Man, I get so much entertainment from MO, and I've never even had to play the game!
Anyway, watched the video and honestly can't see what was done to warrant a ban. Granted there may have been more shenanigans going on than shown, but based on what was shown it simply looks like an idiot GM abusing their power. Which, from what I've read about this game, would be par for the course.

This. Also kicking ppl from the game no matter if they are guilty or not without giving a reason is weird to say the least.
