this was enlightening, i didn't know that they fixed all those problems. Since i played last the game was terrible! looked pretty but so did WoW to some extent but even WoW's devs destroyed their gameplay recently.

I take back any negatives i gave this game.

only three things i think pose a problem for some gamers in this game now, immense lag in pvp, forced pvp (not many zones are exempt from ganking), and the monthly fee.

Yes yes i know some people have a hate on Freemium models, but if more games modeled their freemium packages after Turbine's Lotro they would have a big boost. I can't tell you how many things i bought for free from playing a little while in game completing simple Deeds and getting free store points that actually bought things i needed/wanted. :)

i woulden't play this game even if i got paid for it.   beside all the problems you mentioned, NCsoft has one or the worse custumer support ever.

forced pvp is not something i enjoy  and sadly that 's the main goal in this game so far.

sadly i used to say the same thing, but it looks like they fixed almost all the problems i had. The support never was an issue for me.

Aion is still a grind.  There still aren't enough quests to keep you popping from quest hub to quest hub without having to resort to boring repeatable kill quests

in the article it said there were strategically placed solo dungeons that had higher then normal XP from kills and rare drops (with the occasional orange). Were they wrong?

No, but I believe you can only run those once per day.

No, you can run them more but most are only to a certain lvl. Once you out level that pre set lvl you can longer use them.
