Impression of Rift after playing a trial account with a WoW background

Yes this is yet another comparing Rift to WoW thread. I would like to state that I have a heavy background in World Of Wacraft. For example spending weeks just to pass the original naxxramas patchwork encounter. Spending months opening AQ gates. Seeing games of AV last longer than I can sleep.

With that said, lets get on with it. (Please keep in mind I have only played Rift's trial period.)

Rift is an updated and upgraded World of Wacraft with a few hits and misses. They took the complaints of WoW and introduced them into their own game known now as "Rift". Most players on WoW had always wanted the ability to customize their characters in depth, transfer servers without a fee, not have repair costs.

I have noticed that Rift did not take into consideration the ability to transfer once a week will create a terrible gaming economy and soon leave them knee deep in Real Money Trading(RMT) account users.

I wish I could say this game looks impressive but based off the trial period I experienced nothing pulled me in to purchase their game and pay a monthly subscription with it being so comparable to WoW. Hopefully at some point the developers will decide to increase the level cap on a trial account to 17 to experience the first dungeon "Realm Of Fae" to give players a better idea of what to expect in the long run.
