Hello....... I'm rather bored right now.
Any suggestions on a good MMORPG?
I prefer cartoonish MMORPG like Ragnarok Online
Preferably in the final status (ie, not free)
Also the MMORPG must be downloadble, because I'm rather lazy to go out to the store to buy the game

World of Warcraft. I don't know if you can download it or not. I'm too lazy to find a game that you can download so you can be lazy and not go to the store.

Maple Story is TOO simply for my taste lol...
I prefer something already released though, so I dont have to deal with character wipe!!

As I said in your thread in Second Life forums, just try There. There is 90% user created and its very fun. We are leading the way into the future and your having fun along the way. There has a better community over all and the building tools are very simple to use.
It only cost 4.95 for a whole year. I love it and I have been a member for 1 year. I know any one how is into chatting or building will love There. We need some more people who would like to shape and build our world, and I think your the perfect canidate.

If you like cartoonish then check out Dark Solstice. It looks like a good mix between cartoonish and real life. Kinda nice if you don't mind 2.5D.

I beg to differ, Anime such as Ragnarok is for little kids. Anime such as Full Metal Alchemist, Beserk and Naruto is not :P
A cartoony mmo I used to love (now dead sadly) when I was Modding there was Blackmoon Chronicles. I was GM Eldon/Urania (any of you ever play that?). It was a french MMO and destined to be great, it just had financial troubles.
Wow, was just looking at that Maple Story game someone mentioned, I dont
believe I've ever seen a, um, I guess that'd be MMOSSP (Massively
Multiplayer Online Side Scrolling Platformer) before. Havn't played it
or anything, but come on, too many people are afraid to like anything
cute.
Oh, and about the anime/cartoon issue, the term "anime" was originally
given to animation from Japan, but has since become rather generalized
to anything containing that style of art (i.e. RO is Korean, but still
considered anime because it's the style of art), the term "cartoon" was
originally given to short still comics and later short animated clips
typically shown in moving picture theaters, both which were geared
towards adult readers and viewers, then later to fully animated shows,
and later still unofficially to anything animated. SO long story short
(too late, I know) either term is accurate in description, but its
usually frowned upon to refer to Japanese-style animation as cartoons,
since the country of it's origin gave it a different designation. Which
is funny because Japan doesnt call itself Japan, to them they're Nihon,
but I think the word "Japan" has been used for so long in English
speaking countries, they just stopped caring or something. As for being
for kids, just like live movies, some is, some isnt. My Neighbor Totoro
or Spirited Away are great anime flicks you can watch with your kids.
But something like Angel Sanctuary with its whole incestual subplot, or
La Blue Girl with its...well...porn, will have your kids looking at you
funny for weeks if they dont already.
