    DO NOT buy BF2 until they patch the game. As of now it is bugged to hell and back.

    Actually, I think it is quite smoothe. The game is perfect and debugged. It is just that a lot of the servers cannot handel the game, which is not a problem on EA's part.

    Ya, if you find a ranked server that doesnt lag (99.99% of which do) then stick with it for awhile because youre lucky.

    Normal servers on the other hand run fine, ive never encountered a laggy non-ranked server.

    The menu on the other hands, SUCKS. The game filters dont work (if you tell it to filter out full/empty servers it still gives you full/empty servers), the pings for the server on the refresh list dont load sometimes or it takes about 10 seconds for them to show. In game, everything is fine... just the menu and ranked servers that need some work.
