Heh , well Age of Empires online was fun until I wanted to buy a prenium pack , what a major pain in the ass. Since I'm from canada and the account for some odd reason was made created with United States , I am unable to redeem points card nor am I able to buy points directly off xbox live / microsoft.
Now I understand why I never bought a freaking xbox and why Xbox are still a few billion in the red with their shit on console. Can't even change country in my account. Pathetic. I was all hype about the game but this annoying problem pissed the living hell out of me and I don't even feel like playing anymore. I can create another account with a new e-mail but what's the point? It's like telling Microsoft they won by making me create another account.
Trying to send a help request to a Xbox/Microsoft tech support is like launching yourself to the moon , which is impossible. I had to rely on the good faith and patience on some xbox gamers that really tried hard to help even on skype for almost 2 hours.
Anyways , Xbox and rot , microsoft can rot , almost feel like ditching my PC and going for a Mac.

Getting the products I had paid for downloaded was also the hardest part for me. I have to admit, though, that their live customer support was exceptionally good; I called the support number and had a live rep pick up the phone (nearly fell out of my chair), and he patiently stepped me through a number of potential fixes, until figuring out that it was my antivirus causing the problem. Very rare to find customer support as helpful as theirs - I'm more accustomed to the "your ticket has been received and will be answered in due time [ten hours from now]", a la WoW.
I totally agree that there have been serious problems with the launch (and the pricing, and a number of other issues), but it being Microsoft, they will likely hammer away at it until they eventually get it figured out.
