You know what we're talking about here: The obligatory art book that accompanies any game's collector's edition. Most of us use those as a handy coaster or maybe even for "throne" reading. Believe it or not, however, there are art nerds like David North who devour this stuff. Check out his latest Guild Sores 'toon to see just how bad it is.

Ok that was funny. I agree I love the art books... but obviously not as much as him lol.
This was a lot better than the other Guild Sores comics.

I was thinking that it may be a geeky tomboy girl, but then again we all know that there are no real girls on the internets, just Meny Men Online Role Playing Girls.

Sadly I agree too... at the begining was thinking it would be a play on people only buying collector's editions to get the lil' goodies they come with... but alas....

I was hopeful, but alas it was another let down.
Though I must admit it is better than the others, sadly thats not saying a lot. It's like saying "at least I was only stabbed 20 times instead of 30".
I think I will just steer clear of these from now on.
That is funny. I see it as a social commentary that game art is becoming the modern kiddie-****.
Non-sense. Well maybe it does explain why in a game I'm playing the female undead zombie mobs are dressed like strippers. *grin*
I admit this one is a step in the general direction of "funny", but I think the author would do alot better in just about any field of work.. please please stop making "comics"...
Sheesh, you guys are harsh. Not all comics appeal to everyone. How can you say "please please stop making comics" and advising the artist to find another line of work? Why don't you please please stop over rating the worth of your own opinion?
I think the artist has got a nice style going on here and the layout is improving over time (there were a couple a while back I found hard to follow). With the humour, and the process of becoming attached to the characters, he's getting there, but not there yet for me.

Yeah the guy's getting there. This was definitely better than some previous comics. It's a skill like any other that takes time to develop. No worries dude keep it up
I saw minor humor in the previous ones but the art "jokes" leave me cold.

This one actually managed to disgust me a little, not the emotion you were going for i bet, but at least it stirred something.
These comics arent amazing but I definitely think they are going in the right direction. I hope the author will take heed from the positive comments here and keep trying. They are slowly getting better over time.

This one was funny. I can relate (although not THAT passionately) to the obsession with art books in collector's editions.
We like to play MMOs because real people aren't as interesting, real exercise and fighting hurts, and virtual females are attractive.
To be honest, those who bash his work are just jealous... Make your own comics then submit them. Maybe he finds all of your comments funny, and makes them "bad" as you say, just to read your posts. Anyhow, keep up the comics David, some of us enjoy a little nerdy / geeky humor!
