Awesome system

I only played Horizons for a few weeks, I didn't know anyone and there didn't seem to be that many people, compared to some other games I've played anyways. I absolutely loved the crafting system though, you could get your own resources and it didn't take a million years (I know... exageration) to make an item. EQ2 is doing the resources idea, but it takes so long to make something. ~sigh~ On the other hand, Horizons' resources could be found in the same area all the time, in EQ2 you can run around forever looking for them and not be able to find them. I liked that about Horizons also. It's somewhat more realistic, but I guess you could go the other way and say EQ2 is more realistic.. ok I'm rambling now... My point is, Horizons crafting system is awesome!

It's still an awesome craft system. Now that there's new faces in CS, the entire game's experiencing a much needed influx of positive attitude.

The community is great, too. Definitely worth checking out their free trial offer.

Me too, especially Dragon craftingimage Re-starting a character has never been so fun, I get to do the Dragon tutorial again (which is like the best tutorial ever in a game) and the graphics in the Dragon tutorial are TOP NOTCH! Soon I will post screens, just have to find a place to host themimage

What i really like is that as a builder you can change your environment permanently, build houses and other structures, workable machines and stuff.

So far the five builder classes were restricted to bipeds, but pretty soon dragons will be able to get their own lairs and do their own lairbuilding there ::::28::

I've been playing Horizons for a while now, & that's great news for we who have Dragon Chars. I'd love to start building my Lair! image

I find the information in-game hard to find. For example, when you craft as a blacksmith, you get very little info about where to go, what to do. The quest desc is more like "Make a cedar bow and give to bla bla" Thats all you get. I've been trying to find a Board Plane for like two hours today.. no luck in finding it. So either I'm retarded or the game should give out a bit more info...

    Otherwise, great game.

Yes, indeed one of the greatest communities I ever saw.

You are right, sometimes it is very hard to find what do you have to do, but as I wrote above, ask in the channels. I am sure you will get more help as you need. ;)

To play the tutorial is in Horizons more important as in other games. :)

The tutorials are all being completely redone. The adventure schools have come first. Three of the four basic are completed...most of the crafting had a "once over" but will get a more thorough pass.

But yes, it is important to spend time in the tutorials in this game. ESPECIALLY if you're a dragon.

    Nice to hear that

I 100% absolutely agree with you about the Dragon training.  I can remember me about my first Dragon training 2 years ago.......and yes the Hatchling can fly now
