http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4eOKiQXzR0 nice video from the crusaders side as they attempt to sieze gaul kor from AQ .also shows the failed bug which really does need fixing :( but again its only an issue with over 40 players.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Dotic1?blend=2&ob=5#p/u/2/Ipg814kCAhU and a video from aqs side on the same day.

there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.

    lmao!

    ...yea, it's quite the joke.

30 minutes into the fight and you still can't see almost any AQ. soo many buggs.

I like the part where they were fighting like 5 guys.

    Really "massive" battles.

yea 5 guys that nobody can see. the whole first attack (on the second vidoe clip, by AQ) nobody can see them. not one of the allliance (big group) gets 1 hit on him, nor chases him, or any of the 5 AQ guys. the alliance all run away because people are getting hit and nobody can see the 5 AQ guys.  that's because AQ are invisible due to the well known "failed ghost worrior" bug. basically players dont load and you start getting hit from thin air and the chat box says " FAILED hit for xx ammount of damage".

you can actually see him running away once he is spotted (2:34), when people actually run twords him. before that he's just killing people wile nobody can see him.

it doesnt matter if it's 5 of them or 50, if you can't see them you can't hit them. this thing has been going on for weeks now.

Correction getting hit by invisible people has been going on since beta.  One of the reasons I quit was because of it.

The invisible player glitch is reproducable and all I can say is AQ didn't accidentally become invisible.

i am also of the same opinion, especially since every single time we have fought them (especially in Gul Kor) they have been the invisible ones. never us, always them. and they can, somehow, always see and kill us. always.

It probably has something to do with the nodeline?

Have you tried riding across it and then unmounting and attacking, or something? :P

no i haven't, nor am i going to. it's a bug, and to purpoulsy replicate it is exploitation.

it really doesnt matter AQ is just shooting themselves and MO in the foot. people will just get fed up of this crap and leave hte game.

Ahh good times in MO.  I remember when I caught some AQ using the Risar Throne exploit that was a while ago.  But the thing about this game is everyone exploits the bugs and the bugged weapons (beat stix anyone?).  I remember when the armor bug was the rage yes AQ did it but so did most people.

Everyone knows after every decent sized patch it is time to play "find the bugs and exploits".  It is hard to play the game straight when more than %50 of the pvpers are using the current bugs or exploits to pvp.

this is untrue, there are NO nodelines in the gk area. There is no way to exploit nodelines in the gk area because there are none. The simple turth is once you have a set number of palyers loaded upon your screen you are limited to loading more it sort of bottlenecks. The faxct that aq have half the numbers mean they are obviously not loading as many of their own players allowing them to load more of the enemy than the other side. I do however beleive that this bug (through no fault of aqs) has aided us in the fight due to the simple fact that a zarg cannot be effective when only half of them can see the enemy.

That akins to saying car accidents might accidentally knock the sense to paralysed people.

I think there are better ways to design a game restricting zergs, than to introduce a limitation/bug.

    jeees you guys seem mad.

people in your own alliance were of the opinion that the server acted something like this:

example - max number of players loading on screen is 50 at any time before it struggles. sza came out with 40, AQ came out with 20.

AQ members would render 30 enemies on their screen, SZA members would render 10, giving the smaller force a huge advantage.

This is probably why more and more enemies spawn in as people die, or else it's just that the server needs more time.

I really cant think of a plausible idea that might suggest how that can be exploitable, especially in one of the smoothest areas in the map.

    tinfoil hats...

its a bug the devs didnt purposefully implement it and aq are certainly not to blame for a bug.

No intention to blame anyone, bugs are natural process of programming.

Just not feel like the idea of accepting an unexpected "bug" just because it served another purpose.

  • Cyde77Cyde77 Member UncommonPosts: 101

no you're wrong. the devs implemented it specifically to help AQ

This is a prime example of a game that shouldn't be supported. I love sandbox games, but this is a joke.

regardless of who is benefitting from such a bug (knowingly or otherwise), it's just appalling that a subscription B2P game, a year after release, still has this sort of bug.

  • deathshrouddeathshroud Member Posts: 1,366

yea it is i agree, but bugs can and hopefully tihs one will be fixed in the next bug fix patch. if sv manage to fix both this bug and the mount prediction then mo will feel alot more palyable for jsut fixing 2 things.

If fixing these 2 helps so much, why is it still not fixed after so long? You mean there are more game breaking issues that keep the developer for so long?
