  Lineage II is just fine... Don't know what you don't like about it. I think it's original and it stands out among all the other "[Blank] Online"s and all the other corny names. Then again, I played Lineage I for 5 years, so I guess I'm a little biased.

  I also like Lineage II just fine.  Lineage is a franchise with the largest world wide following of any game, would not make business since to change it either.

  Well, I understand the reason to keep the name (the franchise popularity and all) but I think the original poster's intent is a hypothetical question for fun and entertainment. Obviously there are a lot of possible alternate names for L2 out there. One could consider a few, although I don't think I'd wager any are better than the actual.

  -Chronicles of Aden
  -Chaos Chronicles
  -Lineage of Chaos
  -Heirs of Aden

  Those are some silly ones I came up with.
