Entropia Universe. With the new Cryengine3 upgrade everywhere i go is just jaw dropping! Lots of people play it as a second job to make money but i play it like a MMO. I drop $10 a month on gear and explore the sweet world. Not to mention there are virtually no kiddies playing this one! If you try it go to Port Atlantis and go to the top of a sky scraper and look around! Amazing!
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
this is always my 'go to' game. an mmo home i can come back o and enjoy no matter what. that along with EQ2 and LotRO.
for a while i was bouncing around f2p asian games, but none of them really stuck with me. though i did find some that were actually pretty good games, just nothing i wanted to invest time into. (ARGO, Edent Eternal, Dragon Nest). When FE goes f2p i'll probly try that out for a change of pace, and my staying will be in direct relation to the cash shop -v- ingame attainable items and skills.
i have tried Aion, but eventually it was just too much like other currently popular mmo's.
lately however i have found myself revisiting older, more grindy mmo's where i can just wander, explore, kill things, and harvest. currently that means Lineage2. its got all sorts of things forum goers detest: point and click movement, overly complex leveling system, grindy, ageing graphics, top heavy community, and no 'spaebar bunny hop', but im actually enjoying myself. istaria is another game that ive found rather interesting as well, though again dated in graphics and animations.
other than that i was able to scrape 20buck together to play EQ2 and Vanguard again. i have a visible, tangible sense of relief when i come back to those games, and frankly, im not sure why, esp. with EQ2.
ive been trying to grind out rep in GW1 in anticipation of GW2, which btw is the only upcoming game that interests me sadly enough. not being a hater on any of the other games, just none of them have sparked my interest at all.
so i spose, if GW2 flops ill continue with my older games that ive been enjoying.

I'm playing a game off of Steam called, 'From Dust'. It's pretty cool. It's in the same vein as 'Black and White' and 'Black and White 2'. You're a godlike entity trying to help your people survive by doing all the stuff they can't, like massive landscape modifications. The game is pretty fun, and it's almost as much fun to just mess around in the sandbox after you've achieved your goals for each map. There has apparently been a big controversy due to the game requiring an online registration and connection to play, and Ubisoft said it wouldn't ship with such a thing. Once you get registered, it's no big deal and I have the internet all the time anyway (it's how I got the game in the first place) so it was no big deal to me. It was worth the $15 I spent on it. Do yourself a favor and have a game controller for this game though...it is a console port and a game controller will be more intuitive.
I just finished the single player part of Portal 2 and I can't recommend this game enough. Standard keyboard/mouse controls work great. The story is fun, the game play is really smooth and fast paced. It's $30 for the PC version (still $50/$60 for the console version). Worth every penny.
I pick up Global Agenda every so often and play a couple of PvP matches. I've probably spent 80 hours in this game and for the most part have enjoyed them all.
I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

Just now saw this - and I just reinstalled Oblivion. Never played it with ANY mods in the past - any ideas as to what I should look for/what site has some good ones with descriptions?
I'm close to subbing to Vanguard just had some station account issues cuz they're lame Playing LOTR with a friend to start her off on MMO's Little bit of ps3 the show baseball game and of course i play the jerkoff mmo title ... doesn't even require money just pride.
Catch me streaming at twitch.tv/cryomatrix You can see my sci-fi/WW2 book recommendations.
Playing Vanguard off and on with a couple of friends. It has also been my "go to" game for a long time. I play a bit of LOTRO f2p when the urge takes me and I want to see my burglar again and see if I can move along in the storyline. Also just subbed to Aion which seems quite cool and enjoying that.
In non-MMO-land I am replaying KOTOR so I can remember all the little things that will come up in SWTOR (anyone notice in the Huttball vid that it said the arena was made by the Czerka Corporation? lol, had forgotten all about who they are). Also some Oblivion with some funky custom classes for the hell of it.
Playing SimCity4 while i'm waiting to get my internet run in (looks like another week or so)
And then I'll be on minecraft hosting a server untill BF3 comes out, then I'll juggle the two of them (if BF3 is as good as it looks) Untill Skyrim comes out, I'll play that untill either A. my PC dies or B. I die
As far as MMO's? well because no internet for 9 months, I havn't been playing any....but I'm thinking I miiigghhhttt sub back up to FFXI.
Hopping around a bunch of games when I get time. I'd say the only game I'm playing with any level of consistency atm is League of Legends. Looking forward to Deus Ex: Human Revolution tonight, though!
Currently playing Batman: Arkham Asylum....I never actually played it because I thought it was lame when it came out lol. But its actually not too bad. Shame it feels a bit dumb since its a console port. Oh well, looking forward to Arkham City!
On the MMO front, I played J-Tera 2 weeks back for a few days. Other than that though...last MMO I tried was APB Reloaded and Age of Conan Unchained about a month ago. Needless to say, both games are not installed on my PC!!
Currently waiting for the MMO industry to put out something good.
MMORPG's - Nothing out there that interests me currently. Just started doing a little beta testing for the Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies E.. But it's almost like real work, and that darn thing has been in development for over five years now, so.
Single Player/small scale online - Flying a sailplane simulator called 'Condor'. There's a very active online community that races, but I haven't got into that aspect of the sim yet. However actually, I'm getting tempted to do the real thing. But it doesn't help that I nearly killed myself flying hang gliders several years ago. And still have a lingering discomfort (fear) that I would need to overcome. Not to mention just having lost about $30,000 in the stock market in the last month. Roughly about what it would cost to buy a decent used sailplane these days.

Fallen Earth again since a few days, and enjoying it. The rest bores the heck out of me.
And in matters of non-MMORPGs:
- TF2 (for the action and the laughter)
- MTGO (to give my brain something to do)
- King's Bounty (for relaxing turn based combat and rpg aspects)
- Civ 5 (more relaxing strategy)
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

I'm curious because i can't find anything worth playing. If you peaked into this thread drop here the game you play and why.
For non-MMO: Borderlands.
Why: My brother and one of our friends like to play about once or twice a week together for our FPS fix.
For MMO: Rift and Eve.
Why Rift: A few of my friends play and I wanted to see it. It feels like and interesting blend of WOW and EQ. I enjoyed both games.
Why Eve: It never gets boring for me. I play about twice a week. Either with friends or corp-mates, it never feels the same twice.

I am sticky to the free to play games till SWtOR is released.
In the meantime I am playing....
1. Scarlet Legacy and Heroes in the Sky for some MMO action.
2. COD and BF for my FPS addiction.
Im in the mode of waiting for something new but while Im waiting ive been playing....
1. Age of Conan (Weekend raiding mostly. I still like to play just not everyday)
2. Global Agenda (Fun shooter with a little MMO mixed in. I enjoy it even if the community is mostly under 15 and very annoying)
3. SPAZ! - Space Pirates and Zombies (Fun single player game.really fun and addictive!)
Thats about it. Im waiting for TSW or Firefall for now
/Meow
Blahhhhh
Playing
Warhammer, its good and all but same old same old.
Rift but kinda bored cause the PvP is becoming predictable. Quality game, but I'm having the been there done that feel at max level.
Resubbed to Darkfall for 1 month and wandered around for like 5 hours trying to get in a fight, never did. Some noobs ran from me. bleh
Star Trek Online, eh my wife has been watching the next generation so I subbed and its okay, good for soloing and being halfway afk every few minutes
Still subbed to CO but mostly just running new content as it comes out and getting on for my guild's costume contests.
trying Dragon Nest, combat is nice, not sure I can stand the way it looks for long.
trying Scarlet Legacy, don't know yet, feels cheap.

enjoying Vanguard and EQ2 especially....

Hopping around a bunch of games when I get time. I'd say the only game I'm playing with any level of consistency atm is League of Legends. Looking forward to Deus Ex: Human Revolution tonight, though!
Currently i'm playing:
EVE online
AoE Online
Company of Heroes
BF BC2
Only thing that could change that right now is the release of BC3 , not rlly looking forward to any of the overhyped incoming MMO's tbh.
Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt.

currently im playign nothing because i am on a forum
Civ V
Vanguard
TF2
Nothing else really catching my attention at the moment...
A man is his own easiest dupe, for what he wishes to be true he generally believes to be true...
StarCraft 2 mostly, LoL from time to time. And once Deus Ex: Human Revolution is out I'll be playing that to death. No MMOs for me at the moment.
BF BC2
Lotro to do a few quests a week (yeah I will never reach endgame-at lvl27)
And all these posts about TF2 make me want to get on my soldier and start playing again!
Cannot wait for BF3, GW2, and I will try TOR just for the hell of it.
Playing: GW2, Planetside 2.
Trying out: Age of Wushu
Looking forward to: AA, Wildstar
Currently playing Batman: Arkham Asylum....I never actually played it because I thought it was lame when it came out lol. But its actually not too bad. Shame it feels a bit dumb since its a console port. Oh well, looking forward to Arkham City!
