I assume OP means mmorpgs with low population since FFXIV is still alive.

99% of every themepark mmorpg made, the traditional hotkey themepark genre is slowly dying.

My Tabula Rasa is still factory sealed :(

For some reason, this honestly makes me sad.  I didn't even care for TR, but the thought of the box sitting unopened and gathering dust somewhere, never once to be played, kind of puts a fine point on the untimely death of some of these games.  Lots of hopes and aspirations, players and developers alike, flushed down the toilet.

It's odd that this is one of the few things I can feel sentimental about.

Sort of like an unsold doll at a toy store, eh?  Rejected and unloved.

It would make a great Pixar movied.  "Revenge of the Dead MMOs" or something.

Kinda weird poll. One one hand you are asking what MMOs failed to get it right, on other hand which one you hated the most. I see nothing common between those two questions. Just take TCoS for example. They done majority of things design and idea wise right, but lacked polish and endgame to stay afloat. Was it lots of unfinished potential? Yes. Did I hate it because of it? No.

well alot of the time a game being shut down usually means that alot of people hated it for some reason other wise it would have done better.  I know the poll is a bit off but its still has to do with mmos that didnt do so well.

I said mmos that didnt make an impact on people, which most the time means the game didnt do something right in more then one way for someone which leads to not likeing it and then to hateing it :) haheha

OP should have added Mourning to the list of MMOs. I want to punch a wall every time that game is mentioned.

YEAHHH The MMO i hate the most is the majority! WOO Thanks for taking my $95 with tax and shipping SquareEnix (Well it was gamestop I guess) for such a shitty game that even after a year in post-development it isn't even worth charging for again! WOO!

The combat system of Spellborn was way ahead of its time... still the most prommising ever...

Sadly they never got to finish the game around it...  I loved their art style too....

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
