This will be the sleeper hit of 2011. Haven't had so much fun in an MMO in a long time.
What other type of PvP? Open world? Clan battles? Territory pvp? Different arena types like mini games?
Any Loot Pvp?

This game really isn't worth playing at all, just another cash grab f2p game with obnoxious store pricing for basic stuff like inventory space.
Their CS takes days to reply if you have a problem and the community is very immature, stay away.
This uses the same engine an feel as Outparks - Divine Souls. Ripper X you should do an article on the difference between the two games.
I found the gameplay to be fun. Its fast-paced, very anime-like, and the spells and attack abilities are quite well rendered. Its a game you can hop on and play for a short (or long) duration and genuinely have a good time.
Here's the caveat:
As stated, the community is scaldingly immature. There seems to be a strong lack of forum moderation, so its a free-for-all of the worst of the WoW kiddies' /trade channel chat. Its quite discouraging to say the least.
Another problem is the sheer innundation of gold spammers and bots. The fill all the channels, repeatedly spamming their messages. It is more than a nuisance, its a blight that makes reading chat messages from actual players nearly impossible. It also contributes to lag which is another problem they are trying to deal with.
What else.. Oh, yeah, the cash stop items are stupidly overpriced. Take for instance a simple thing like a Skill Reset scroll. It costs $20. That, imho, is just pure greed. Considering the game is still in Open Beta, they should be encouraging people to try out all their skills, in whatever combination, as often as possible.
Overall, its pretty and its fun. I think at its core though its just something to avoid. There are much better games that are FTP (if that's your thing) with much better CS, forum modding, Cash Stops that aren't ridiculous, have decent communities, aren't debilitated by gold spammers, etc, etc..
Disappointing review - took 12:42 to get the real RipperX happening.
