i just want a game to fill my time until SWTOR.

i would like a game with fun crafting like haven and hearth.

The game ive been playing lately is League of legends, but i am growing tired of it.

Since you said fun crafting...Might I suggest FFXIV? I actually enjoyed crafting in it...and I never enjoy crafting iin anything...

Patch 1.19 (which is coming out soon I believe) is unveiling the new system...The Materia System! It is pretty much a way to boost your character by putting Materia in them. You have to use a weapon until you hit 100% Soulbound (something like that) and then you destroy it to make Materia...this is a big boost to crafters. Every needs weapons->crafters make them->everyone has materia->crafter makes weapons for materia->ect ect. The hitch is though, say you want to put Materia into a rank 50 sword. You need to be a rank 50 blacksmith (If you want to put materia in the item, you need to be able to craft said item) all in all...I think its gonna boost crafting a lot. Its b2p currently, so I suggest you give it a whirl.

They didn't drop it...they more admitted they failed at meeting the players expectations on launch and how bad it was. They aren't charging a dime until the game "Is worthy of the Final Fantasy name" or the like.

A long ass time ago.  No sub until the game is at where it should be... if ever.  It's a very empty and barren gameworld imo.  Storyline is good but too much you do a lil part, go grind out some leves, little more story line n more leve grinding... rinse n repeat.  No dungeons, no raids...  However you can get it real cheap, got mine with copdes off Amazon for like 15 or 25 bucks.

I thought they had stopped that back in January or so. If they're still doing it then I'm going to see whether they've improved it.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes also has crafting that requires a little bit of thougtht.

    Everquest 2 also.

Im gonna have to go with the guy above and say Vanguard, the crafting is fun as hell and the world is immense. I really want FFXIV to succeed since I am a long time Final Fantasy fan and played FFXI since the beginning and played it on and off for 6 years. But in its current state I cant really say a whole lot.

I would wait until the new job system and map revamps before you try FFXIV (again?). I went through one rocky FF MMO release, I dont want to go through another.

"In the immediate future, we have this one, and then we’ve got another one that is actually going to be – so we’re going to have, what we want to do, is in January, what we’re targeting to do, this may or may not happen, so you can’t hold me to it. But what we’re targeting to do, is have a fun anniversary to the Ilum shenanigans that happened. An alien race might invade, and they might crash into Ilum and there might be some new activities that happen on the planet." ~Gabe Amatangelo

Yeah $13 a month is too high in my opinion. If it was like $3, even I would give it a shot for a few months. But it's probably working out for them okay.
