LFG - Best F2P Fantasy MMO ?

GrincheyGrinchey Member UncommonPosts: 4

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for the most popular/best free 3D fantasy MMO that is played at the moment. I want one that can keep me going until I get GW2. The things that I would like this game to have are:

-No pay to win concept

-Good enough PvP

-Large playerbase

-Decent amount of content

All suggestions for what I should be playing are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Grinchey

    Fiesta Online.

    - F2P

    - No Buy-2-win

    - Average PVP

    - Very large playerbase

    - Lots of good content

    Dragon Nest

    - F2P

    - Kind of Buy-2-Win in PVE terms, but not PVP.

    - Very good, fun, awesome, addicting PVP.

    - Very large playerbase

    - Limited content as it is Open Beta.

    Vindictus

    - F2P

    - No Buy-2-Win

    - Pretty good PVP

    - Very large Playerbase

    - Average amount of content

If B2P is ok, I'd recommend GW. It's not P2W, has great PvP, a large playerbase, and a lot of content. Plus since you're waiting for GW2, it will fill you in on the lore and give you some exclusive items when it comes out by linking game accounts.

I also agree with Dragon Nest and Vindictus. Vindictus is mostly PvE though but it has PvP. I think that Dragon's Nest is supposed to be more PvP based.

I could recommend AIKA too... Fiesta... Well I played it but only up to the title change, i became WizMage or something.

I'm VERY intrigued by Dragon Nest's combat... its so good? Do range fighting feels like third person shooter and melee fighting feels like a 3d fighter ala Soul Calibur / Mortal Kombat? Should I give it a try?

I have played GW for the past 2 years, so IDK if I should get back into it for the GW2 prizes or not. I guess I'll see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions though guys.

AoC gives you access to all the 1-80 content for free, and has a really fun melee combat system which rewards movement and timing very well. Haven't played since it went free but I'd expect the pop to be much better now.
