im interested in what the end game content aimed at solo players is going to be.
If someone is talking in general chat in a language you dont understand, chances are they're not talking to you. So chill out and stop bitching about it!
Unless they have something specific on their website I am not sure how anyone can say the gameplay is looking solid or deep or anything other than generic. The game looks fine, the skills look neat and all but quite honestly the only thing I have seen is this will be a quest hub based leveling game with a sci fi cosmetic wrapper on it. Instead of mobs shooting fireballs and lightning bolts they shoot lasers and missles.
I have not seen or heard anything that makes me go WOW yet. The fact we havnt really started hearing anything about the game untill now kind of tells me they dont have a lot actally In the game just a lot of stuff still on the drawing board and wish lists. I am way beyond the "TRUST ME its going to be cool" thing myself. If I dont see it in game its not coded as far as I am concerned.
I can see why people would go, oh no here goes the Anime Cat thing, but really all you know is that there is an Anime Cat in the game, and just by looking at the trailer, which is most of what he have, she's not spastic like sterotypical Anime Cat. So that remains to be seen. I myself love Cell-Shaded style of graphics (Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker being my favorite game of all time.) It's NCSoft, so it most likely will do well, even if it isn't Special and revolutionary. Generic aspects can be done well, which will improve the game regardless of the generics. I personally am a sucker for a western sounding steel guitar, so if that is the ingame music, this kid will subscribe just to sit there and listen.
Are we going to be able to leave the planet? When someone says Firefly, I think of galvanting around the galaxy and such in western rig and sensebilities. I would be interested if you actually when around the galaxy and explored new planets. But, I do not see that happening with this game.
Currently Play: ? Occasionally Play: Champions, Pirates of the Burning Sea, WOW, EVE ONLINE
I guess the art style is cheap and easy to make? Low texture/poly count runs well on crapy systems?
This looks like nothing like WoW, cartoonish but thats bout it. So anything that's cartoony is WoW then to you? Wildstar's graphic style has long been in the market before even WoW's launch. Can't recall tha games but there have been plenty out there that use this style lile Leisure Suit Larry, Kingsquest, Spacequest have more characterics to Wildstar that WoW does graphics wise.
I was intrigued at first glance and the sci-fi with western elements sounded interesting. As soon as the cat-chick appeared in the trailer I was already done with it. Not my thing and one less thing to vie for my attention with SWTOR, The Secret World, GW2 and Tera (as if this game could even hope to compete with those games hehe).
I just keep seeing the anime cat girl with the three foot bunny ears and baseball sized eyes and just can't get over how ridiculous it looks.
Will this game be deep? By which I mean, will have depth? I mean true depth?
This had me rolling. So big on the talking points, so small on the information.
Still, looks like it might be an interesting game.

Im not sure I understand the comparison to Firefly. Unless those are the wrong screenshots, because I dont see any western space style. Not even something like Cowboy Bebop (which could be awesome too).
what i like with this is that you can play throw the whole story in solo, as well as in with a big group. not everyone get to experience the whole game and story since they cant or dont want to join a hard core guild or do pvp (telling this from experience). and i love the way it looks cartoony! as if pixar would make a game! xD
i know this game is still many years from reliease, but have they announced any more races yet? it looks a bit narrow with just 3.
the gameplay looks fun, at least what ive seen to now. just gonna sit back and watch what they do with this game, there is potential here ^^

More information is needed.
Why does everyone have to look like WoW?

Any character customization in this at all? Or does everyone play the same characters, just with different colors or coats?
Trailer was quite good, but the game's still got some 'splainig to do.
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
The graphics are actually really good.
This interviews on the other hand. The opposite of really good.
oh happy day
Firefly like,,,,I like that!

On radar now!
Yep. They want to maximize profits so the less it cost to develop and the larger the target audience, the better for them.
