Well, I know that at the moment there is nobody playing (aprox 7 people on mars server ATM), bugs are rampant, chat isnt working properly, there is no crafting in game, there is no Ah in game, there is no economy in game, and we are still missing one of the four classes supposed to be in game.
I know there really hasnt been anything done YET asides from fixing a couple minor bugs since this game went gold.
But there is some exiting news on the horizen. The team at HI are working on a novel about this stellar IP. They even gave us a peek at some of the epic writing. http://forums.godsandheroes.com/showthread.php?2244-Production-Blog-12-Book-Preview.
Exiting times coming to G&H. Glad to see that fixing this game is such a prioroty. That lifetime sub is looking very attractive right about now. Perhaps they will even throw in a PDF copy of this novel.
looking good HI.

I'll post the same thing here as I did on the forums.
I assure you no one in the office is losing any development time on this or resources and nor have they ever. This is something that has been talked about and worked on outside the office for months before the game was even released, this is not something we decided to do just now. I posted it (in the production blogs) because I thought that some might find the concept interesting not to start a debate about priorities. Our immediate priorities have been made clear and they include new content and crafting. You can expect a full overview of what has been done on the new content as well as previews of the new areas on the production blogs soon.
Thanks,

This is a serious question: Is the CEO's mom, Laura Castoro, writing the novel? Her bio includes the line "Multi-award winning author" which was also used in the production blog.
That's certainly one way to control costs.
Perhaps Heatwave can release a new chapter of the book in-game every day for a month. At least this would give paying subscribers a reason to log in for a few minutes.
The plan was to post parts of the book a little bit at a time. However, it's probably not best to post them in the Production Blog seeing as how some might infer that it is part of what the team is actively working on. That said, we would like to do something like that and give it its own section on the forums or website. What was posted was a little bit of the background fiction in the book to give context and not any part of the actual story.

Yes a very nice idea to make a novel. Just hold on releasing it untill the game is finished. Just my 2 cents on it, because otherwise people would come by and see the true state of the game and never return. Dont say I didnt warn you guys!
Theres absolutely NOTHING TO DO AT ENDGAME. NOTHING. NADA. ZIP....ZILCH...
Did I say theres nothing to do at endgame? No pvp, NO AUCTION HOUSE! er wait, what? No ah? facepalm... This game is sad, and people are leaving it in droves. Theres hardly anyone left on the few servers.
Theres not enough people working on this game for them to put out new content consistently. They have something like 12 people working on it.
Stick a fork in this game, its done....../shrug
Whatever happened to the IN BIOWARE WE TRUST signatures?
As Marcho above said. Nothing to do. They arent even replying to serious questions anymore. Have you seen anyone post on their forums anymore? Mostly its days ago. So sad! And then they are off on monday cause its a holiday. I tell you, if I had a game in that state, I would be working 24/7 to get it done. Because I promised my customers it! And a promise is a promise! Who would pay 9,99 a month for a beta game? Not me!
Alot of better games out there.
But doesnt take away, that I would hope it would come good, but with those outdated gfx, I dought it!
Well, just bringing the newest sad news. Something whent wrong with the login and some people, also trials (people who wanted to test the game out), had to try all day to get into the game, only to either not get into the game or either getting in but not being able to create characters. Sad to say, some people just left it for what it was and just quit. Although the problem was adressed it took a full day for response to come and was thus too late. Sad it is.
I sure am waiting to hear some good news from this game. Its has much potential, but lacks the speed in development. But please have patience with this game, I do think it will get there...eventually. Mid october there should be crafting, but I hope they first fix the armor bug, that doesnt let you get the stats. Or else we will be just making vanity items instead of epic armor!
