General: Tank Ace: Open Beta Rumbles to a Start Today

GamesCampus has announced that its WWII game, Tank Ace, will be officially commencing its open beta phase of development at 11:00 a.m. PST. A new update will be deployed that will includes new content along with a new achievement system, better graphics, a Power Bunker and more.
Players will prepare for battle in the ultimate tactical-warfare style combat shooter, featuring realistic World War II battlefields and vehicles based on actual historical facts. Included in the open beta launch is all-new content including the addition of the Achievement System. Players can earn achievements by meeting specific requirements such as losing their first annihilation game which will give them their "Bitter Taste of Loss" achievement. Earning achievements will award players with in-game currency, experience and maybe even special items!

I heard this game has Three MAJOR GLARING problems with it:
-Graphics are atrocious
-Purely HP based system, ZERO subsystem damage.
-Cheating is blatent & everywhere
I'm fairly certain World of Banks (err, i mean Tanks) was FAR more polished in it's ALPHA than this game is. Nevermind the fact that people play World of Tanks with "Wallet Tanks".

I'm happy to try! Desperatly hopeful of some competition to World-of-Banks! I deeply despise the Wallet-Warriors and Pay-to-win games. Not to mention their "match-maker" system which is a total joke regardless of what some fanbois may try and defend.
I agree, and since Open Beta is now here yes....yes I WAS a closed BETA tester for this game. I can honestly tell you they had a hacking delima early on that was dealt with internally (meaning they didn't tell the player base). However, almost nothing has changed except the offsets from which they operate their variables from.
Their attempts to secure the game are halfassed at best. However, I hold out hope they'll get something better than they have now going for anti-cheating purposes.

Thought i'd give it a spin but have uninstaled it after 20 minutes. Uses old monitor resolutions, about 10fps, looks like something from the 90's and even when you get in a tank it feels horrible compared to WoT. Not for me.
Yeaaah, I pride myself on normally putting graphics last when deciding the quality of a game. But really, this looks like a game I would have played as a teen (quite a while ago lol)....
I mean, most browser games look atleast 2-3 generations of graphics higher then this .. wow
Game is buggy at best couldnt finish a mission due to game getting stuck had to force shut down the game. Graphics are pretty bad might be fun if you could actually play it.
Kinda makes WoT look like an actual simulator.
