WoW patcher bugged

Yesterday i patched WoW for some hours and the SETUP download was done and it was on PLAYABLE. Now i start the patcher and it has to download 1.4GB SETUP. What is this?

Isn't the setup -phase on clean installation only something like 300mb large.
Are you doing a clean installation, or maybe patching from some old WoW version?
Never run the patcher / launcher. Always patch by running the "Background downloader.exe" from within the wow folder. It improved my download speed dramatically, from around 100kbs to around 4mbps, and is generally far more reliable in my experience.
