Imagine a Flashpoint with 4 Republic Troopers / Bounty Hunters / Jedi Consulars / Sith Inquisitors..

The picture above says it all. It can be done. Let's say:

Vanguard Trooper, Shield Specialist.

Commando Trooper, Gunnery Specialist.

Vanguard Trooper, Tactics Specialist.

Commando Trooper, Combat Medic.

This just sounds to me like one of the most amazing ideas ever!

In paper, this should be completely viable. These four character classes are capable of forming such groups.

I know that the two main issues could be buff diversity and loot distribution. But let's say that you have a small group of good friends, skilled players and people who know how to share, and VOILA! You have an awesome immersive experience.

I am totally going to try this with my guild. And if it works.....oooooohhhhhh boy.......

What do you guys think? Would you give it a try with your Republic Troopers / Bounty Hunters / Jedi Consulars / Sith Inquisitors?

I agree that the fact something like this is viable is exciting. especially in the case of multiple troopers. I would recommend resizing the pictures in your posts as you lose some of the win having to slide over to see the rest :)

I do think it's interesting how they've implemented class specialization.

Nice idea. Reminds me of doing stealth runs with only rogues and druids in WOW which were amazingly fun due to all the careful stalking, distractions, and unavoidable screw ups occasionaly (but kinda useless without some druids). Did many of those in BRM/BRD and Sethekh Halls.

Does anyone know if the stealth / invisibility skills from some of Swtor's classes would allow for sneaking past enemies in flashpoints, etc?

In regards to gear distribution, I think I remember hearing that everyone gets a loot container. If that is correct, these kind of setups are actually viable. Now if you want to play with your friends and they all like the same class... no problem!

This is one of the things that has me excited about this game.  It will be a nice break from the WoW make ups I have been dealing with for the past 6-7 years.
