For some retarded reason i was considering trying this game again.
For the last TWO HOURS i have been in circles trying to figure out how to activate my old account and link it to this mandatory EA master account garbage and nothing works. It has completely made me disinterested in the game AGAIN and if signing up for SWTOR is anything similar to this process fuck that game as well.
If you are reading this and considering going to try WAR again you have no idea what kind of headache you are in for.
I have my passwords.
I have my original retail discs.
Nothing works. It is a 100% total mess. If these people actually think you are supposed to remember 2 or 3 different passwords, 2 or 3 different log-in names, 2 or 3 different email addresses just to reactivate and try a game you have already paid for years ago they are complete fools.
I feel so confused over the jumbled messy process i just went through i dont even want to play this garbage at all now.
Im so pissed off i hope SWTOR is the exact same mess so they can lose millions and millions. EA needs to get its act together. I feel its rather simple...
If i have my original passwords, and the original fucking discs i should be able to add CC info and play the god damned game. Period. No run around, no headache, no phone support. If i am the fucking owner and i have the money to pay the reactivation fee it should be a seemless easy task. This is totally unacceptable and i have zero interest in reactivating or even picking up SWTOR if this is the mess i will have to endure just to pay a god damn fee and log into the game.
What a total amatuer unprofessional experience. Words cannot even begin to describe how frustrating the process is they want veteran players to go through to even reactivate and old account and give the game another try.
Garbage. 100% garbage.

There was a master password and a game password, u use master password to login on their website and game password to login in game
I actually agree completely with the OP. I don't have much else to add...I just wanted to throw my support out there.
Stopped playing after they charged my CC 8-9 times in one month. Never felt the need to go back.
But i feel yer pain.Im have a feeling they only have two people working on War atm.

I haven't loged in that system, so I dont know what you talk about but sometimes I found accounts systems like that and they are really a mess, this kind of stuff should be as easy as possible becouse you can loose customers if they get angry trying to activate the game.
I had similar problems when resubbing. There is no excuse for the incompetence, just none. I eventually got it accomplished, but christ on a stick what a pain they make it.

I've combined my old daoc account with the one for WAR and it works fine. Master account/PW and one for the individual game. It does help keep things organized, and it's what Sony has been doing in their games for years. If you are so desperate to spend your money why not play a f2p game >.>
I'm gonna be honest, when someone makes a new account here just to complain it's hard to take them seriously.
completely agree and normally i would ignore such a post. but i have to admit the system they have created for account generation and maintenance is inexcusably obtuse at times.
