Yay, after the recent change to help builders in Horizons work quicker by allowing players to teleport to other locations with a tarbash disk in tow, we get another bit of news about resource recovery from demolishing structures ::::28::

Some people have been asking for it for a while, others thought the devs had forgotten about it altogether. So when the devs remind us out of the blue of such features heading towards the Blight shard, I can't help but want to say thanks for not forgetting us ::::01::

BTW If Dozer or Hadesprime want to come and crap in this topic too, then feel free. I've come to accept that when two people are devoted to tearing a game down because they've got a petty grudge against one man, then you just have to live with their comments and appreciate that rising to their bait only encourages appalling behaviour ::::15::

This would be good news, but if said in irc then I wouldn't believe it till I see it in patch notes. Also just because it goes to blight does not mean it will go to live right away. I seen things go to blight and never get to live.

That IS good news! Very cool. I keep learning new features they've added to the game since I left and it's great -- way too many to list, if I could even think of all of them right now, since last October when I stopped playing. Another great thing about a small company is taht there's less inertia to change, and this game has changed a lot, and very quickly.

Well you and everyone else who plays Horizons should know that Blight is for beta testing, and ofcourse its going to take a while till this new feature goes live on the other servers. Blight is a beta server!! What kind of game developing team puts features on a Standard server, without putting them in their beta server to see what problems may come up. Maybe they decided that the other features that were not released on Standard servers had too many bugs or else they caused problems. They wouldn't go through all the work and hassle of adding new features and just leaving them on the beta server (Blight)!

So since you mentioned it, DOZer explain in your own philosophy why the devs make new features and put them on Blight test but then never go on the standard servers...And no I don't want you to answer this but...you will anyway

This is rather good news. Indeed.

Characters with construction skills can build on their plot faster and with more convenience. Much better than grinding craft levels making/deconstructing tools (and other means possible by game mechanics, but not the intent of developers - yeah, making wooden tools better a carpenter becomes).

I guess you have trouble reading what I said which explains why you put so much into what is said on irc with this game that clearly is still in big trouble. Wonder why they can't put this into wrtiing?

That's another facet of the game that is worth pointing out: it is really two games in one. It is the game for dragons and the game for bipedsm and the dragon game is different enough to need a lot of separate development.

As for dragon construction skills I don't actually know how they plan to implement that. Probably they will create a dragon lair trainer who will bestow those skills on dragons, or maybe they will receive those skills when they buy a lair.

Another thing that's in the works is other kinds of racial housing -- trees for dryads and (I hope) elves.

WOW!! they still do not have dragon lairs in the game. I though they were suppose to be in a year ago. I quit 4 months after release and I am still amazed at the lack of content, but will keep checking back every so often to see if it becomes a real game or stays a mmorpg wanna be.

I'd guess that dragon lairs will go live this fall.

As for "mmorpg wannabe" I suppose it depends upon your expectations. If you want a huge mmorpg with a couple million subscribers - and all the benefits and headaches that go along with that -- then Horizons is not for you. If you want a more personal experience, where the players have a definite and continual impact on the playing experience and the development of the game, then Horizons may just be the game for you.

Your STILL here?!?!?! How many times have you said you'd never come back? Nothing you say can be trusted based on about a million facts including that one.

Why don't you go watch cows being slaughtered or torture your hamster or push an old person down the stairs? You'll get even more of a sick thrill doing those activities than posting ad nauseam about a game you don't like.

Last 7 days you have played WOW and BF2. Hmmm maybe people need to look at what you say about HZ? If the game is so great why aren't you playing it everyday. I know that is what most people do when they hype a game like you do.

I log into WoW for about 3 minutes every other night to say hi to my guild before playing Battlefield 2 which I am currently unable to stop playing: yeah, it's just that good. Once my addiction to BF2 has run its course, I will go back to the wonderful Horizons. You however, may go back to plucking the wings off butterflies now.

P.S. would you fix your sig already? The quote has been wrong since day 1. It should read like this:

One thing I never had to do was lie about what DB has created or what he has done.

Did you know he tried to do what he did to DA to someone at Turbine. Which is why he was fired from Turbine. But I guess you don't want to know the facts. Even the fact he was one of the people that ruined AC2.

I love hearing facts. But you did lie when you said I said that WoW has more content than Horizons. You can talk all you want, but I never said that. Therefore you lied. You can't prove me wrong because I never said it.

I'm sorry for how you feel, but if you tried the game today you would be amazed at how far it's come. I haven't played in 7 days as I have said more than once, because of Battlefield 2: I am hooked lol I can't bear to play anything else atm.

Hear this: I will never directly reply to another of your posts. I am done it's so tiresome now. I am here to defend the game while I am at work because guess what, all the people who play Horizons are PLAYING HORIZONS!

What game do you even play? None. Obviously you are bored of them all just like I was. Even WoW gets boring by level 53 or so. I say even WoW because it is SOOO fun mostly.

Lifetime free account to AC2, right now also playing AC1 preview. I also been in WOW most of today. I have a open sub to EQ2, SWG, EQ, well ok full access at sony.

I also go back into HZ at least once a month. Yes i was in like 2 weeks ago, I know exactly how the game is.

This is 2nd time yoou stated you would not reply to me, hope you can keep that promise.
